"I've been buying storage devices from MacSales since the early days of the Macintosh.
My latest purchase, a 1TB external SSD, was no different. My only criticism is that the bundled formatting software failed to format the drive and stated that I should contact MacSales or return the drive. It was a cinch to use Apple's 'Disk Utility' accessory program to format the drive and to put it into service."

“Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you’ve experienced with your recent order from OWC.
You placed your order on August 2nd, and on August 13th, we attempted to reach out to you under case #02669287 to inform you that your credit card was declined. We requested that you contact us to provide updated payment information so we could process and ship your order promptly. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response at that time.
After a few days without hearing back, we attempted to process your payment again. This time, the transaction was successful, and we shipped your order on August 14th. We emailed your tracking number and a PDF copy of your sales invoice to you. If you did not receive this email, I recommend checking your spam or junk folder, as sometimes our messages can be filtered there inadvertently.
On August 18th, you reached out expressing understandable frustration, believing that we had canceled your order without your initiation. I want to clarify that we did not cancel your order; it was on hold due to the initial payment issue. As of today, August 19th, we have re-emailed your tracking information and a copy of your invoice for your convenience.
I truly regret the confusion and inconvenience this situation has caused you. Providing excellent customer service is our top priority, and I’m sorry we fell short in your case. If there is anything else we can do to assist you or if you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. "I was not redirected to the Canadian site which I have always used. There is no visible difference between the 2 sites when using them. The prices I assumed were in Canadian $. I only discovered they were in U$ when I saw my online banking. If I had ordered on the Canadian site I would have paid much less as the Canadian prices were lower. "
