"As a loyal customer of Monoprice, I have always loved the products they've sold, the quality of their customer service and the reliability of their shipments. This has all changed. My experience and reading the reviews from other sources tells you everything about this company is going downhill quickly. If you buy, buy with caution understanding no customer service, cross your fingers and be prepared to wait.
I placed an order on July 11, 2020 and after two weeks, customer service can't be reached, the package has been lost for a week and no one responds to my emails or chats to obtain a replacement or a refund. After five unsuccessful attempts to reach customer service for a refund and no response, I've had to contact the better business bureau and file a grievance with my credit card company in order to try and get my money back. I have NEVER had to jump through so many hoops to get a response from customer service with any other company. Customer service is non-responsive, refuses to track the lost package or replace it, or even issue a refund.
I've had to find another company to obtain the products to finish setting up my home office. Thankfully, this other company appears to be more reliable and has better customer service. The products have already been shipped and scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. Buyer Beware! Not the same Monoprice from a decade ago and management doesn't seem to notice or care."

"I ordered a set of Monoprice 5" studio monitors. When I got them, one wasn't working properly. Monoprice get back to me quickly, sent me a prepaid label to ship my order back, and sent out the replacements very quickly after they received my return.
A true test of a company is how they react when things go wrong. Monoprice passed that test with flying colors.

"I ordered a micro usb to hdmi cable. When I received the cable it is actually a mini usb to hdmi cable. I contacted customer service, at which time I was told that I need to email them a picture of the cable to verify it is wrong. This is the "only" way they can communicate. I understand this, but, I "do not" have email on my (new) phone. To actually get a camera, take a picture , upload to the computer, and email it was going to take to long. So, now I have a useless cable and I still can not transfer info from my old phone (which had the screen destroyed in an auto accident).
As an update; I did receive a phone call, from Paul in customer service, After I explained my problem to him, he was more than helpful with resolving my problem 100% (without having to deal with the email issue). It's great that they take that extra step, even though It could have been avoided altogether if they gave the customer service representatives on the front line a little more leeway to correct problems. I will continue to do business with them."

There is currently no phone support available. This is going on three weeks now.

"After I ordered what I needed online, and since MONOPRICE has so much cool stuff, I kept shopping. I found what I thought was the ticket for my rack mounts, I added to cart. Well, they didn't work out and MONOPRICE sent me a return FedEx label no questions asked. The only glitch was there were two boxes and only one label. Uh oh... By the time they realized their error, I had already taken it to FedEx and ended up paying $20 for big box to put them both in. No big deal though, even though MONOPRICE wouldn't refund me the box cost. My bad. I went to FedEx too soon. All in all, I like MONOPRICE because they have a ton of PC/Server/electronic support equipment and tools. Their customer service is very good. Can't go wrong with MONOPRICE."

"First, the quality of (own-brand) Monoprice cables is pretty good. Thick, maybe "over" shielded (short HDMI cables are tough to fit into tight spots - so be cautious).
However, my concern is twofold. First, delays in shipping were met with "laissez-faire" response. Zero reply from customer service.
So while I'm happy and proud that Monoprice can get cables when others cannot, they failed on the hard (shipping) and soft (bedside manner)."

"Had ordered a set of color ink for my kid for e-learning. Found out Monoprice has the best price for ink. However, there was a glitch on the order system. Contacted customer service & was instructed step by step in how to return the wrong ink set. After ordering the correct ink set which was compatible to my printer, I ordered more. Gone to work and ordered ink for my work printer for a great price. Recommended Monoprice to my co workers & my friends. Kinda spread the word around since I'm happy wi th my purchase.
