"I can't say enough good things about PowerMax! Last week, my dinosaur of a Dell laptop (it was about six years old and a hand-me-down from my aunt) finally gave out. I've been raised on Apple computers, but hey, the Dell was free and I'm a college student. I decided to make my first laptop purchase a good investment though! Thus- I turned to PowerMax, because I wanted a Mac but also didn't want to go through the Apple Store. Originally I was looking at 12" G4 PowerBooks, and Joe very nicely helped me out when I had questions about them. However, I (after a lot of internal wrestling) decided paying more was worth a newer laptop- so I opted for a used aluminum MacBook (999.00$) instead. I was very surprised at my luck, as this model is essentially brand-new and is still under the Apple One-Year Warranty until Jan '10. Michelle Ryther helped me place my order today and has been awesome! There was some trouble concerning my email address and when I called to correct it, she was totally accommodating. All of the people I've dealt with on the phone or online have been very friendly, accessible and knowledgeable. It's really refreshing to not be talked into an up-sale or discouraged from buying something that's older. These guys rock! Whenever I have anything Apple related to buy, I'll turn to them. "

I purchased my editing system in 2002, and was trying to install OS 10.5.6 (retail) and had an error. After almost 9 hours of phone conversations with Apple, I tried a last resort with PowerMax where I originaly purchased the system. After talking with Michelle and doing some testing it was found that the error was do to two RAM DIMM PC133 512MB cards that were defective so the hardware verification during the install would not verify the base components (the RAM)! Michelle pulled up my archieved information and realized that my existing RAM had a lifetime guarantee. Michelle put through the paperwork and I am now waiting for the delivery of new cards for install and will be able to get back to work without a hitch!
Customer Service needs to be the forefront of every successful organization, with Michelle and PowerMax leading the way in my situation, I applaud their attention to detail and Michelles' pro-active, customercentric attitude.
