"Wow- one word that describes this company.
Once I hit the submit butotn to order my ibook i was greeted with 2 e-mails a confirmation and a very own personal e-mail from one of the staff saying that if i had ANY questions to please call or let them know via e-mail. Heidi was the most awsome of them all. She was super quick with her responses of her e-mails (sometimes less than a minute!) and she was very kind and informative and never shoooed me off to another representive. She handled both of my order and my trade-in. I cannot describe this service in words. Trust me i will be comming back.

"powermax is, without a doubt one of the best online resellers of apple products around. they are, in my experience, very willing to make sure their customers are satisfied. by example, i ordered a 17-inch powerbook from them on 12 june 2007 - however, the same computer was also ordered at the same time by another individual before me and i was unable to purchase it; furthermore, powermax did not charge our credit card. notwithstanding, heidi, my powermax representative, searched high and low for a comparable machine and found it only a few days later, had it upgraded with RAM per my request and it arrived the next day! this was essential, since we were to begin our summer trip. my wife also purchased from powermax ( ibook G4 ) and had a favourable experience. we will always purchase from powermax if possible."

"This is for Michelle Ryther: I recently purchased a Mac G4 Notebook. I needed it shipped to my home rapidly so that I could send it down to my daughter in Mexico via my son who was going down to visit her. Michelle went the extra mile for me by handling the outgoing shipment with the warehouse personally. I got the laptop on a Tuesday, and my son left for Mexico on Thursday.

This is probably the third or fourth time I have purchased from Powermax and had Michelle as my rep. She is a very considerate, knowledgeable, and trustworthy person to work with. My thanks to Powermax for the continued great service and for hiring Michelle. Larry Vavra

"Heidi Wheeler was wonderful to work with!! I made a mistake with the quanity of the product I ordered. Heidi included 'her name and phone number' on the confirmation. When I've ordered online I've NEVER had a real person's name so I would know who to contact if there was a problem. I contacted Heidi and she took care if it right away. She was very pleasant and quickly corrected my error. My experience working with Heidi through Powermax has raised the bar. I wish more companies used this customer service approach, and I wish more companies had employees like Heidi. Thank you Heidi!"

"Gary Mead at PowerMax is the best when it comes to customer service. I bought a Refribished PowerBook G4 from them that was suppose to have all the latest software but when I checked it didn't. So through a few phone calls and some emails he solved the problem by shipping me the software.
If anyone needs a computer, please check them out before going any where else. They have great customer service.

"There is such an incredibly happy ending to a very bumpy ride thanks to Heidi Wheeler at Powermax. My old PC was 8 years old and dying a slow death. My son and his wife had decided to switch to a MacBook Pro 17" and purchased TWO ( one for each of their separate jobs) from Heidi in January 2007. My son (age mid-30's so he's not just a kid) was ecstatic with an Apple and vowed he had no plans to ever put another nickle into Microsoft's pockets. He made a trip cross country to visit me and had to convince me to get an Apple. He didn't have to try very hard. I was sold almost immediately even though showing a 58 year old dog (me)new tricks probably wasn't going to be that easy. I contacted PowerMax immediately but they were sold out on the model I could afford and wanted. Heidi was not my first sales person so I did get a bit frustrated when I was told there was one left for me and then a couple of days later there wasn't and only after I called to check on it. Hmmmm - how does a laptop vanish into thin air and why wasn't I called? So, I bought a new computer direct from Apple to the tune of $2,800.00 plus. From the very beginning it was trouble, trouble, trouble. Apple support spent hours with me via phone and the problems remained. I'm positive the machine was defective. I was angry, in tears, and I'm sure my blood pressure was off teh scale with frustration. My husband drove me the 80 miles one way to the nearest Apple store where I was basically told I'd need to take a class to learn how to use it. You can imagine what I said about driving 80 miles one way to take a class on a machine I was sure was defective. I strongly stated I wanted to return the machine and I took the beating of the restocking fee. OUCH! To this day I'm still convinced the machine was defective and the staff at the Apple Store wouldn't even check it.
Once back home I talked with my daughter-in-law who said, "You need to talk with Heidi Wheeler." I did and am I ever glad! I still believe Heidi pulled off a miracle. I got the machine I initially wanted which she found with a some extra work. She said the only problem was she didn't think she could get it shipped out that day because it was too late. Would you believe it was on my doorstep the next afternoon? Heidi pulled off another miracle and got the laptop shipped and since I'm only up the coast about 400 miles it arrived the next afternoon. I was in a happy state of shock. Now it's not all roses just yet. The laptop started doing the intermittent shut downs or blackouts. I spent more time on the phone with Apple support and doing a lot of problem solving myself. Once everything was updated and I did the simple maneuver of shutting down, removing the battery, waiting 30 seconds, replacing the battery, problem solved! I just couldn't be happier now. I saved $1,000 by buying through PowerMax. Yes, there's a little less memory on the one I got but I guarantee you I'll never use it all anyway and I can upgrade for less than $1,000 if I do need more memory.
HEIDI WHEELER has sold three laptops to our family members now and all of us can't give her enough praise. She knows the true meaning of customer service. She not only goes the extra mile, she went an extra 100 miles! THANK YOU HEIDI. THANK YOU POWERMAX. We're so glad to have found you both!

"Maiya Kennedy patiently helped me select a newer older Mac & OS to keep my very senior Mom "connected" as simply as she can be. But this recent experience was not my first with PowerMax. I had the same special handling from another product expert years ago when I purchased the first older Mac! It's "sweet" to know that the PM staff's product knowledge, courtesy and attention to customer service have not changed over the years. This group provides a rare positive experience in an increasingly user-unfriendly market that doesn't make time "for the rest of us," especially if we're not looking to buy the latest, prettiest hardware.
