Sent Wrong Size Filters
"I ordered six 19x25x1 Merv 8 filters on 2/25/2023. On 3/10/2023, I received six 10x12x1 Merv 8 filters, that is, the wrong size filters. I called Factory Direct Filters customer service on the day of the delivery, 3/10/2023, and was told to keep the 10x12x1 Merv 8 filters and that the correct sized filters would ship on 3/12/2023. Not having received the correct filters, I emailed Factory Direct Filters customer service describing the problem on 3/21/2023 but received no response. Then, I called customer service again on 3/23/2023. The rep indicated that it may be a while before the correct filters ship. On 4/25/2023, I wrote a letter to Factory Direct Filters, describing the above. I have not received the correct size filters nor a refund for $66.58. I've used Factory Direct Filters for many years with no problems. This experience has been horrible."

"I was waiting for more then a week to find out that my order was never shipped. Fast shipping is a lie. I have never been able to find the status of my order online despite of the link in the confirmation e-mail. Stay away."

UNDERSIZED
"This company makes "UNDERSIZED" filters, so BUYERS BEWARE! They say their filters are sized "Industry Standard", but they ARE NOT! Their 14x20 filters are 1/4"-5/16" less in Width & Length dimensions as compared to other manufacturer's filters (i.e. Filtrete, etc.). Therefore, they "rattle" and fall against the ceiling grate making sounds when the air cuts off. They DO NOT FIT SNUG against the standard 14x20 filter framed opening. Very, Very ANNOYING.
Have installed ceiling filters in houses for 30+ years and have never purchased a filter this undersized from any retail store or any other online supplier. Even the actual measured size of their own filter is 1/16" less in width & length than what is listed on their website. This is obviously Very Poor-Quality standards as compared to other filter manufacturers that I have ordered from over the last several decades!.
I have therefore wasted $62+ on 12 of these deficient filters and with no recourse from Factory Direct Filters. VERY BAD $$ LEARNING EXPERIENCE & BUYERS BEWARE!!"

Slow shipping and response time
"It took 2 weeks from the time I placed my order for it to even ship out of their warehouse. It hasn't arrived yet, so I don't know about the delivery speed, but I'm guessing that will be slow too. When I submitted an inquiry to customer service about the ship date, I had to wait 4 days for an answer. I will not be ordering from this website again."

Continued BS response as to why a delay in shipping
"For months, they have been using the "raw material shortage" as to the delay. But coincidentally, when you do call and reach a live person, your order is miraculously ready to ship in 24-36 hours. Then another delay.
They take your money upon placement of order, even knowing they don't have the raw material to produce. Do they really produce their own filters ... doubt it!!
No communication initiated by them to ever tell you of any sort of delay. I was told by live person, 3 - 5 business days for shipment, website clearly states within 3 days for standard sizes and 5 for custom sizes. Mine is a standard size, should have shipped by last week.
DO NOT USE !!!! Used to be a good company to deal with. Were they bought out? Was told no, no merger of any sort. How do you change from a responsive decent company to crap so fast?"

Terrible Company That Never Even Shipped the Products - DO NOT USE
"I ordered a few air filters from this company over a month ago (July 23rd) and they still haven't shipped. I got an email from the company saying they were going to be delayed 5-7 business days - this initial delay was annoying, but I thought as long as the products eventually show up, it should be fine.
About a week after the 5-7 business day window ended, I decided to email and call the company's customer support after hearing nothing. They assured me it would ship a week later by the 21st of August (nearly a month after I ordered). Well, it is now the 25th of August, and I haven't heard any follow ups from this company, nor have I received any shipping tracking info like they assured me I would.
It's the weekend and their customer support is down, but I felt that enough time has passed, and they have performed terribly enough that I should leave a review to warn any other prospective customers.
I will try to follow up with their support, yet again. But I doubt much can be done to change my review, but I will update if this takes a miraculous turn (can't get much more disastrous than this)."

Outstanding order fulfillment
"Ordered filters on 8/3/18 for a unique size (19 7/8 x 21 3/8). Home Depot and Amazon could NOT fill the order. Filters were delivered today (8/16/18). Replaced filter and it fits perfect. Order fulfillment within 8 business days. Outstanding order fulfillment. Will order again in the future!"

Unreliable and terrible customer service
"Ordered 6 filters on 7-15-2018. The order is to arrive in a week. Called and after a lengthy on hold, they said waiting for materials to make the filters. Called again a day after they promised the order will be shipped. Still, another excuse of waiting for their material. Called again today 8-6-2018, after 7 minutes on hold, I was told to a voicemail, and they will get back to me within a business day. They should not accept orders knowing they can not deliver on time as promised! Have no material on hand to make the product while still selling them appears to be some sort of ponzi scheme!"

"In Stock" doesn't mean it's really In Stock
"I specifically asked that my sizes be confirmed as "in stock", The chat lady assured me they were. Once I placed my order, there was too much similar to the company I'd just cancelled my order, for inability to ship, AirFiltersDirect.com. Even the order # was almost the same.
I then asked if this was same company, different name, which was confirmed, which also meant they did not have my filters available to ship and I promptly cancelled the order here too.
If your order doesn't ship as advertised, DON'T keep waiting, it won't be shipped "tomorrow"."
