"Ordered a viewsonic vx715 17" lcd monitor. Advertised as new on their website, received a refurbished monitor shipped in a plain brown box. Monitor had dead pixels as well as touch up paint on the plastic panel. "
"I didn't check ratings before ordering, and was quite alarmed by the history on resellerratings. However, my experience with A2ZComp was flawless. The only bump was ensuring that the shipping addy was authorized on the credit card. Otherwise, shipment was quick, packaging was good. I did speak to them briefly; their voice mail system wasn't great, but I was able to bypass it with an extension provided on their webpage for sales support. The person I talked to was exceedingly helpful and polite."
"A2Z Computers went above and beyond to solve a problem I had with an order placed back in November. Understand I was pretty frustrated at this point, I had been trying to contact them for several months and no one was answering the phone or returning my calls.
When I finally did receive a call back I learned the company had changed hands. The customer service person told me the new owners of A2Z where trying to clean up a few orders in there data base and as you can tell from my posting mind was one of them.
To be honest with you I had written this off to one of those bad internet experiences; I was surprised to receive a call from them.
The part I ordered was defective did not work. After talking with them they agreed to refund my money or replace the item.
Because I needed the item and could not find it on the web or anywhere else for that matter, asked them to send me the part. This is where things with most companies would have broken down. For starters other companies I have dealt with would not have called me they would have emailed me. They advised me the part was no longer available then offered several substitute parts. Turns out, I ended up with a processor that not only worked but cost less and was faster (1.7 GHz to a 2.6 GHz). Today I received their refund check for the difference in price.
I will definitely use A2Z the next time I need computer parts."
"This company is the one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with. First I ordered a boxed processor and they shipped me a processor with a fan attached to it with a rubber band. Not to mention the processor never worked. When I tried to send it back for a refund they kept the product I sent back to them and never gave me my money or the product back. I tried calling them several times but they never check any of their voicemail lines for tech support, customer support, sales, or returns. I also emailed them several times with no response. Please no one buy from these guys ever. BUYERS BEWARE!!!"
"I received a DVD burner but it was not the one I ordered. The invoice listed the correct device but it was not the one I received. I obtained an RMA number and returned the device October 28. As of January 29, 2007 I have heard nothing from the company. I cannot talk to anyone in any department on the phone and emails sent to addresses listed on their website are returned as undeliverable.
The website informs me that "Ivan" at extension 121 has my order and that I should call him. I have tried for several days at different times of the day and have not been able to speak to a human being (even in Sales).
I would not buy anything from this company."
"Purchased a monitor in a good price. It arrived with crooked base and I had to return it.
The item arrived to the store, no notification, not communication to me.
Tried to get answers as well as refund.
Except of sales you can almost forget of getting those guys.
The guy for the returning items (Ivan) was very rude. It took a lot of time but at the end they returned my money.
I'm NOT GOING to make buisness with those guys again evr in my life."
"I ordered 2 USR 5699b modems, and they shipped model #263091-oem. I contacted customer service, and instead of being helpful and courteous, the rep had a bad attitude and decided to argue with me. He even told me the modem I got was what they shipped instead of the 5699b. I finally told him I wanted to return them for a refund, and he said they would be picked up the next day. 4 days later no pickup, so I wrote the company a letter and filed a complaint with the BBB. Finally today, 9 days later, the package was picked up.
I strongly recommend no one use this company; there are too many good places to do business without having to go through the hassels these people put you through."
"I ordered a replacement DVD burner for a customers laptop. EVENTUALY they sent me a burner, the wrong burner. They wanted me to pay shipping to replace it. After some argument they agreed to pay return shipping. Weeks passed. Getting ahold of some one there is impossible. The only way to speak to human is to call the sales extension, which the do answer, and get some one there to transfer you, and specify that you dont want voice mail.
I finaly got to talk to Ivan in returns. He assured me that my return was processed and I could check after 7:30 PM one thier webiste at whcih point it would update with the fedex tracking info. This never happened.
Eventually I got ahold of some one else over there, now a total of 20 days had gone by since i first placed my order. The were now telling me that the never had to corret part in stock, so they issued a refund. Which they never bothered to let me know. And there was no explination as to why they had told me the correct item was allready processed and shipped.
Then I had to struggle my way around their phone system to try and get some kind of confirmation for the refund. which the said they would fax to me, and I still have not recieved. Three weeks later, no item, no confirmation of a refund, and no contact whatsoever from the anyone at a2z.
The employees there are all agrumentative, the hinder instead of help, they have only a basic grasp of english, and they are unwilling to get you in touch with those you need to talk to.
Unless you enjoy abuse, disrespect, poor service, lies, and never getting what you order, AVOID A2ZCOMPUTERS"
"Ordered about a dozen copies of Office 2003 Pro over a couple of months. They appeared to be legit when they arrived and we resold them. We should have opened them up though because we discovered a couple of months later that they are actually illegal. No COA, the CDs inside are actually 30/60/90 day demo CDs and the serial number (printed on a piece of cardboard that was obviously cut out by hand) is from one of those generators you can download anywhere on the Internet. The number does work as a full copy of the and it registers with Microsoft without error but it is totally illegal. We recovered eight of them and got an RMA but we have yet to see any money despite many calls/emails. We reported this to the MS piracy division and were unsurprised to find that they already knew all about them. Hopefully they'll be shut down soon so other folks don't get ripped off."
"Placed an order on 4/5/06, an INTEL D845GLLYL motherboard with video/LAN/audio build-in. It took them over 10 days to ship it out by FedEx Express and another 3 days to arrived my door. After open it and starting assambly my PC and wasn't paying to much attention to "what" actual model they send me, by the end and realized they send me a cheaper model D845GLLY with no LAN build-in.
Starting to frustrated with no system to run, and realized they charged me full amount and sent me the cheaper model, PLUS, it's a USED/Referbished motherboard (that wasn't posted on the website either).
After calling their service dept, they claim they were out of stock and see if I can keep the wrong motherboard (WTF???). Finally they gave me a Return Authorization Number to return the wrong item, which I have to paid for the return freight with their fault shipped the wrong item to me.
With all their dirty tricks in mind, I wrapped up the wrong item and shipped by FedEx with Sigature Required on, that cost me $7.50 for the return freight. FedEx website shown it was delivered on 5/1/06.
3 weeks later and still no credit return to my credit card, so I started calling their customer service and return department. Several calls on serveral days, all I get was answering machine stating that their customer service are busy, asked to leave voice mail and they will get back to me. Surely they never call me back.
With return signature approved from FedEx, finally I filed dispute over my credit card company and withing 24 hours, I have my money back.
So people, STAY AWAY from this scam artist company."
"I ordered a Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20.1" LCD Monitor on Thursday night. The very next day the order was shipped out via FedEx and I received the product the following friday. Ordering process was easy and their response time was excellent. I would definitely shop from them again. I had one problem with this order that may be merchant/FedEx related. I had a $10 Rebate which required a UPC, but when I received the monitor, I could not fill it out because the UPC had been stripped off of the box!"

With this purchase there was a link for a rebate. The site said, you pay $8 for the software after the rebate.
I received a big box with a single cd in it. No manual, no package, no proof of purchase.
I contacted them with my complaint. And am still waiting for a reply.
I should of checked here first!
Stay away from A2Z computers!"
"I wanted a Dell 1900fp monitor to pair with my existing one. But it isn't a current model so you can't buy one from Dell. But searching on Google I find that A2Z Computers has refurbished ones for sale. They were $349 which is a bit steep for a refurb, but I really wanted one and they were the only retailer I found that was selling them. So I ordered one. But they shipped me a 1905fp. This is a completely different monitor from a physical standpoint. It sits a couple of inches higher and is all black instead of having a silver bezel. Not what I wanted, an unacceptable substitution. And the kicker is that Dell still sells the 1905fp for less than $349! So I get an RMA number and ship it back.
The instructions say to allow 30 days for a credit. After the 30 days pass I send an email asking for status - no reply. Then I start trying to call. I run into the most annoying phone system in history. There is an option specifically for status of returns, but I can never get connected to a person. My only option is to leave a message. So I try the customer service option. They always say there is a high call volume and I can never get anyone. The voice says I can leave a message, or hit "1" to remain on the line. If I hit "1" I figure I'll go back on hold for a few minutes before it makes the same offer, but it only waits like 3 seconds and I have to hit "1" again or automatically get sent to voicemail. So if I wanted to hold I'd have to hit "1" every 3 seconds!
So I figure maybe I should call first thing in the morning and I'll have better luck. This morning I get the same response for the status of return option, but customer service said it was "after hours". So I wait until 9:00 (EST) for it not to be "after hours", and I immediately get the high call volume message again.
But there is one line that always goes directly to someone and that is sales. So they are eager to take your money, but not eager to talk to you for any other reason.
I never got to talk to anybody about it but $349 was finally credited to my credit card. But I guess I'm out the shipping to and fro costs. They ought to refund that too since they made an unacceptable substitution. But I guess I'll just chalk it up to experience and put them on my list of companies never to deal with again.

"Excellent store - was hesitant to order because of the rather sparse website info about the company, but their price was the lowest by $50. Ordered, and the order shipped out the next day and arrived here very quickly in two days in perfect shape, exactly as ordered. Will definitely order from a2z again - great prices, very fast shipping."
