"I am a semi-professional appliance repair man and here is my most recent experience: The good about Appliance Parts Pros: great trouble shooting videos, knowledgeable sales staff and fair pricing.
The bad part: Shipping routines! I ended up ordering a main control board for a fridge with overnight delivery. Well worth the premium shipping expense and minimize the cost of food spillage.
Instead of receiving the product the following day, I got an email in the evening asking for a verification of the order. They claim having left a voice mail with the same request earlier in the day too, which was a blatant lie (voicemails are easy to track). The need for verification of shipping address and credit card of an online order is still a mystery and the representative did not have an explanation either. No warning on their website about a need for a possible need to confirm an address manually and create a delivery delay. As a repeat customer, they already had my name and address on record. You would think they were smart enough to figure out that a critical part for a fridge could be time sensitive, especially when paying for overnight delivery!
It took 3 days to receive the part and about 5 minutes to install it.
My request for free shipping or at a minimum being charged for ground shipping only due to a delay caused about the staff or procedure at Appliance Parts Pros was categorically declined. However I did get a $10 discount to make up a fraction of the shipping costs. The big question, would I use this company again? Most likely not.
They won this round, but lost a customer and a good referral source. "

"My wife mentioned a week ago the oven was taking a really long time to preheat. Sure enough the next time we went to use it, gas would not start. Took the bottom out of the oven and saw the element was barely glowing red and nowhere near hot enough to engage the gas flow. Came straight to AppliancePartsPros to find a replacement.
Quick model number search and review of the exploded diagram, found the igniter quickly and easily. Having replaced the element about a decade ago I couldn't remember the steps to replace perfectly but your video right next to the part was super easy to follow. Took maybe 20 minutes to swap out the bad part for the new one, put everything back, and the oven was back in business."
