"Our Maytag Maxima front load washer had been stopping mid cycle and throwing an F9 E1 error code. My husband checked/ cleared the drains but the washer continued throwing the code. "Looking on the site here, there was a spot that showed common fixes for common problems. It pointed out to 2 items that were common with my particular oven model. I had issues with one or both of those items years ago when the oven was under warranty and that repairman mentioned that the high heat from the self cleaning cycle probably caused the issue for those parts to fail. The site described those parts, how they worked and what usually caused them to go bad. And yes, I had recently used the self cleaning cycle and ever since then the oven stopped heating. So... instead of trying to find specific electrical specifications to check what the ohm readings should be for each of those 2 questionable parts, I just took a chance and ordered both. Parts arrived I think within 3 days, and it took all of about 45 minutes to install both parts and the oven works fine now. I did check ohm readings of the new parts and the old parts and they were significantly different. That just confirms that my old parts were in fact bad.
