"I called in and I was told by one of the Parts Associates that the problem of my Window Air Conditioner Compressor not cutting off after the fan cuts off and also could not be turned off at the control board and still continued to run. I had to turn off the breaker in the electrical panel to stop the compressor from running after attempting to cut it off at the control board. I was told it was a control board problem because that was the only thing that controlled the compressor. I purchased the control board and changed it and that did not fix the problem. I called back in and was told I could not return the new part I purchased that did not fix the problem and then was told the problem was one or more of the Thermistors in the unit!"
