Excellent Video, fast shipping

"My Whirpool Cabrio Dryer had an issue where the Drum stopped spinning even though the Heat was still blowing. After reading many diagnosis, I thought it might be the belt. Found a video to a similar machine on Appliance Parts Pros and figured I could do it myself, because I had repaired our Cabrio Washer several times through watching similar videos. The parts arrived very quickly and I watched the video on my phone while following along on the dryer. A few differences between the models where my Dryer had an extra insulation/support piece that wasn't on the video, but was able to figure it out. I replaced the belt and 2 rollers, but my tensioner was completely different from the model in the video, so the part in my kit didn't fit, so left that alone. But was able to do the repair in about 30 minutes and the dryer works perfectly now. Most likely would have cost a few hundred dollars for a repair man to fix, but only cost me $38 plus shipping. Very happy with the parts and videos on AppliancePartsPros.com! Have learned a lot from watching their videos and have saved me hundreds in repair costs!"

No more moldy boot, but no tech support as stated on website.

"Part came in 2 days, my husband installed it using the video from A.P.P., had to work out some things that were a little different. He did call what A.P.P. said was 7-day tech support, and the person who answered acted as if he did not know what my husband was talking about. The tech support was one reason I ordered the part from them, so this was an unpleasant and completely unhelpful surprise. Fortunately my husband was able to complete the repair on his own; he is very good at many things, fortunately, since he had to figure it out himself, which he did. So shipping was good, the part was good, the video was helpful, but what happened to the tech support? Anyone with less smarts than my husband would probably have needed it, as it was pretty complicated and had to be done exactly right.

Replace electrical switch in range hood

"I have an AirKing range hood the mfg. discontinued switch availability. I did some exploring at this web site finding a GE switch that appeared to be the same dimensions . Ordered it installed and it functions well. The bonus is that the GE switch is manufactured with a thicker mounting area. That is where the original broke!"

"The main component we need was back ordered. No mention of this until partial order received. Told it would be 7 to 10 days before needed part shipped and 7 to 10 days for shipping. Not happy that it was not stated upfront that the part was not in stock."
