Amazing Customer Service but Awful sales reps specially sales managers

"bought $17,400 in mostly Miele products and if it was not for the Amazing Customer Service I received from Andree, I would have never been able to place my order. Sales Reps including their managers were not only very unprofessional, unable to help when asked a question about the Miele products, awful attitude, and gave me the wrong information several times. Sales Rep along with their managers should be learning from the customer service department and even billing depart on how to treat customers along with product information. "

"I purchased a bed from Appliances Connection in September 2021. It is now May 2022 and I still have not received my order because they have been pushing it back. The online customer support is useless and so is their phone line. "

Damaged goods

"We paid hundreds of dollars for a range hood that was hard to find, only for appliances connection to send it late and damaged. They tried to blame the shipping company, but the box and packing materials were in good shape, and the hood itself was so badly bent in that the box would have had to be completely crushed in order for it to turn out like that. They offered us a coupon on a future purchase, as if we would ever shop here again. Do not buy from them. "

Worse Customer Experience

"I placed an order in October and was advised would be delivered by end of week. This did not occur. The appliance did arrive on a date we had advised we would not be home to accept. Needless to say it was damaged. I advised Appliance Connection immediately. I provided everything I was instructed. Tish the first person I dealt with continued to send the same information as it was my fault and if I wanted to return the appliance I would have to pay for the shipping. After several months a technician came to the house and confirmed the refrigerator could not be repaired it would have to be replaced. Pictures were again sent and the response I received was: "Unfortunately, after reviewed by claims department shipping does not have any responsibility and we are unable to provide a replacement from either shipping company or manufacturer.

There are several reasons why this request was declined from both manufacturer and shipping, there is no evidence this damage happened during shipping or prior to the item being shipped from the manufacturer, the dent looks like it has been caused from a solid object that is painted with a light color, evidence that suggest that likely this has been caused from an impact a wall, specifically the corner part of a wall". This email comes directly from Ledio the second person I dealt with. I was highly insulted to be told I was a liar. The pictures of the refrigerator were taken in the garage and had not been moved in addition the technician spoke with Appliance Connection directly and was agreed it was not able to be repaired and refrigerator was damaged prior to shipping. As I was not getting any resolution I had to deal directly with Whirpool. I have sent Ledio several emails asking for a credit on the damaged refrigerator as well as leaving a voice message. As has been the history with this company, I again have not received a response. It has been over 6 months and still no resolution from Appliance Connection. I have dealt with many companies and have never had an experience that has taken so much of my time and still no resolution. I would not recommend this company nor will I be purchasing in the future.

Par Excellence

"Most of us can say that we have enjoyed a lucky experience in our lives. Such was our experience when through my wife's prayer she was led to a company called Appliances Connection.

Our dishwasher broke down. It was time to get a new one. She, my wife, Kim, saw one there that met our needs. It was in the GPT225 series portable. Specifically: Energy star fully integrated with 12 place setting, Auto sense cycle, Piranha hard food dispenser in white. My wife is a pretty savvy shopper both for the integrity of the company and the quality of a product. Therefore, she ordered this product online.

When she called to check on her order she was surprised to see how cordial the person was on the phone. Over a period of time she and I spoke to many different people concerning delivery dates, billing information, warranties, etc. They were all very nice and helpful.

One person that I spoke with quite extensively was a gentleman by the name of Martin Somah.
He was extremely helpful for some of my advanced questions and guidance. One could hear the care between his lines. If companies rate their employees by hearts, Martin would get a Fiive heart rating!

Kim also discovered that Appliances Connection has one of the most comprehensive protection plan and equally important the best price. No other company came close to their plan.

Even to the very end, even the delivery people were very nice, cordial, and helpful to bring the dishwasher into our home.

We also discovered that all dishwashers come with electrical heating elements. This one did not, But boy does it clean with its super heated steam like water; far better than our old one which had an electric heating. The glasses, dishes, pots & pans come out super shiny.

We are extremely pleased with the people, the company, the service, and the product.

Know this, it has been a couple of months since we had had this dishwasher. It is now that I am writing this review. Let this testimony serve as a reminder as to how good this company is to inspire one to write a review months afterwards.You know that if one does that act upon something right away it is soon forgotten. But this is not the case with our Appliances Connection experience, and it can be yours.

Horrible experience

"I called to place an order, which went fairly smoothly. Ordered an ILVE range and told that it would be ordered. A few days later, they ran my CC, which was flagged as possible fraudulent due to the large amount. I quickly called my CC company and it was cleared within an hour of my being notified.
I responded to the ticket they opened to let me know they were unable to charge my card and they said Appliances Connection would run it again. It took a couple of weeks, but they did re-run it successfully. I received an email stating it went through and my range was ordered. I checked my CC statement and it had gone through.
Then about 4 hours later, I receive another email stating that they cancelled my order. When I called in to find out why, a very rude representative told me that he wasn't sure, but tried to explain something about insurance issues - which he didn't even understand what he was saying. I could literally hear his entire conversation with someone else in the background and they were trying to come up with some story to tell me. I decided it was useless to talk to him. The next day, I call ILVE customer service (and I think it might be one and the same, but even if not, they're about as helpful). I was told they cancelled it because the charge was flagged and didn't go through. I told her that it did go through and that their own employee had noted it as the hold going through successfully. She said they would need to contact the Billing Manager and get back to me. I waited until late the following day, called back to check on the progress. She snapped at me stating I needed to "give them time to work through it."
Ok, so I did. And then 2 weeks later, I tried again. Still no answer. I emailed the ticketing system and have yet to receive any answers as to why this order will not go through. It's now 5 weeks later and I've never received a response. I don't understand how a company with great reviews can just completely ignore an issue that was ENTIRELY ON THEIR SIDE. Apparently they're doing so well, they don't need customers buying $5k ranges. That's fine, I found much better company to work through and extremely happy with their service.

A special huge thank you to Martin Somah!

"A Special huge thank you to Martin Somah! Recently we purchased an item from appliance connection and the delivery service AM trucking said our contact person verbally agreed to a delivery date in the evening, which he did not. We are a business and only operate M-F 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. They refused to redeliver without a fee, even though it was their fault and would not admit it. I reached out to Martin Somah from Appliance connection who went above and beyond resolving the redelivery of the product without a fee to us. (Even though Martin informed us the carrier (AM Trucking) is an independent contractor, and they have their own policy as it relates to charging of fees and related services. This is something beyond the control of Appliances Connection.) This clearly shows Appliance Connection cares about their customers and cares about customer satisfaction. We received excellent customer service and professionalism from Martin. We highly recommend Appliance Connection and will definitely refer others. Thank you again Martin Somah!"
