"Ordered a Logitech Bluetooth mouse from them yesterday. They, by far, had the lowest price on the internet. While I was reading my order confirmation e-mail this morning, the FedEx driver was at the door with the new mouse. I asked for free, basic delivery, yet my order showed up in less than 18 hours!

"I bought a 19" Acer LCD from Buy.com, and it arrived fast, so I thought no problems. Until I had a problem with the LCD. I sent the LCD back and it arrived at the warehouse on 7/11/06. It sat in the warehouse for a week, so I tried to find a customer service forum and I did, so I filled it out, and went to send it, and the forum was DOWN. So then I went in search of a phone number for customor support, I could'nt find that. I had to find it off of Blog website as well as a customer support email address. I emailed them, and they said wait a maximum of 14 days for processing time. I waited the 14 days, STILL NO REFUND. I emailed them back and called them, and they said oh there has been a delay on processing your return please wait an ADDITIONAL 3-5 business days for processing time. I have YET to receive my $173.00 dollars back. I will NEVER buy from Buy.com, it really was the worst experience and is the worst experience I have ever encountered. Pay the extra $10 to $20 bucks and buy from Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com. DO NOT BUY FROM BUY.COM!!!!!!!!!!"
"An item was on sale and in stock - I purchased the item, waited 3 and a half weeks until I finally received an email stating that the order was canceled an no longer available. I emailed a request to be offered a similar product at a similar price and no one ever got back to me. If an item is available to be purchased, it is the seller's responsibility to ensure that the order can be fulfilled. I will never buy from them again."
"I saw the commercials on TV and they had a rebate for the mp3 player I wanted, so I thought I would try Buy.com out. (I'm a new**g kind of guy). Ordered it Sunday, shipped Tuesday (kind of late, but it does say 1-2 days). I got the "Budget Shipping" becuase it was free, and it turned out great. Instead of 7-9 days it got here in 3. I did contact customer service at one point because the item had no tracking number (Because they shipped it with USPS, I was told). I got an email in 1 day which was kind of short (not the length kind). But the item got here alright. Not A+ packing (Bubble wrap envelope). But all in all it was a good shopping experience. I will edit this if my rebate turns out ok!

Its been close to 4 months and no rebate has arrived...I contacted their customer service and they say they have no record of my rebate form or anything!! Buy.com just lost another customer.."
"I like this store.
The prices are good (but sometimes as, always, you can do better). I have been using Buy.com for six years know for both personal and business purchases. In general delivery has been first rate (Sometimes receiving the order in just one day). I use them primarily for electronics (Computers, iPod toys, etc.) but they do sell “other” stuff as well. There prices are not the best for building a computer system (CPU, Motherboards, etc).

"I attempted to order a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum from buy.com. This was my first purchase with buy.com, so I created an account before ordering. I received an email confirming my account creation, but never received an order confirmation email.
At the time I didn't think anything of it, since my order appeared under my account. However after a week of my order sitting at "Processing", I finally called buy.com's customer service to check on the status of my order.
The representative I spoke to informed me that they were having trouble verifying my billing address (which has never been a problem... I make online purchases at least once a week, and I am sure my address matches the address on my credit card). She also claimed that I had received an email, which most certainly never appeared in my gmail account. Regardless of whether or not their system said I was sent an email, I never received it.
So, I asked them to verify it again... and after another week of nothing happening, and no emails or responses to my customer service emails, I clicked the "cancel order" button.
Then finally, a week after I requested the order be cancelled, I received an email saying that they had cancelled my order because they had failed to verify my billing address... supposedly after numerous attempts to contact me, and not because I had requested it be cancelled or anything...
Thank you buy.com for completely wasting my time."

Very pathetic service specially customer service. Nobody replies to your mails. There is no phone contact. It took more than 7 days for the order to be received by me after applying 2 days shipping. Till 4 days from order placement the order showed processing. I wrote more than 10 mails but no reply. No phone contact just got mails saying that phone support will get in touch. Takes customer for granted. The day I thought I will cancel the order as it was a bday present for someone these people shipped the stuff. Please do not buy anything from this store as they dont have any commitment towards the customer. "
"All items were received with some damage. I returned them all in one box as instructed with the RMA written on the box. Received an email about a week later stating that a refund was issued ... "FOR 1 OF THE 3 ITEMS". I waited about a week to see if it was just a delay (actually, I thought the receiving department kept 2 of the items for themselves). Nothing!
I then called the 877 number, which is routed directly to New Delhi, India, and was informed that the other 2 items were refunded about 15 minutes before my call. *ODD* They also told me that my bank denied the refunds, which is why I only received 1 to begin with. WHAT!?!?! BULL!!! I then check my bank account a couple business days later, only to find that "1 OUT OF THE OTHER 2 ITEMS" were refunded. Are they kidding?!
I just got off the phone with their customer service center in India again, and was told that this issue would be forwarded to their corporate office and would take another 3-5 business days to receive a response. Lets see how that holds up.
Never again will I purchase from buy.com. Their customer service is probably the worst I've ever dealt with. Don't get me wrong, the people are nice, but their business practices are terrible.
If you need to contact them call 1-***-***-****. Don't bother emailing them. I tried three times and didn't get a single human response back."

however, waiting for a refund for a week is totally buy.com's fault. as stated in their e-mail that i am suppose to get this refund within 24hours period, i waited and waited for an e-mail reply after i sent 2 e-mails. no reply. gave them a call 2 days ago, was told that i have to wait another 4-5days to receive my refund, and my refund problem is forward to their customer service supervisor. my money is been held hostage. "They told me there are two mail-in rebates with this order (worth $250). Now after 8 months they tell me there are no rebates for this order. Tried to return an item and the return address changed during the process. I sent it to one address and they changed it and listed a new address. I mailed it USPS with no tracking and have never had any problems. Of course, they claim to never have received it. These people are crooks. If they see you returna an item with no tracking, they just keep it and never refund any money. BUYER BEWARE. "
"i ordered a digital camera(Invoice 28410924) and paid for it with Paypal. After a couple days of processing, it was cancelled due to not having a verified Paypal account. Not once during the checkout process did it say anything about having to be verified. I received an email stating that i would be refunded the money within 24 hours. Two days later I checked an they still didn't refund the money. I called and they said it was being sent to headquarts for further evaluation and that i should hear something within 3-5 days. I have not heard anything yet. So i guess you can say i am very unsatisfied.
*update* I called again and this time it is being sent to the head office as an urgent request. I have to wait 24 to 48 hours longer.
Order #2 Invoice Number 44495575 I ordered a couple external hard drives. I received the conformation email. A couple hours later I received an email saying that "We were recently informed that the item listed below from order #44495575 is no longer available from that supplier. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience." I looked online and they still had the drive listed, just with a higher price. They could at least own up to their mistake instead of insult my intelligence by lying to me.
I thought i would try Buy.com again since it has been 2 years since the first order. I have learned again to stick with reputable sellers. 2 for 2 on being very dissatisfied. "
"I understand the other users' complaints about buy.com but every time I've dealt with them it's been a great experience.
The times when my parts arrived with the slightest defect they took back the item with no shipping charge to me and shipped a new one FAST.
Just recently I bought a lock from them and google checkout made the change from budge shipping to standard shipping and charged me 7 bucks for it. I contacted Buy.com and they refunded the 7 dollars even though they already shipped it via standard 2-3 day FedEx. They understood the error I made and refunded my money within 2 days.
When you look at reviews on resellerratings.com, keep in mind that the usual buyers won't report a happy transaction, but the unhappy ones will almost certainly vent their anger on these review sites. Always give more weight to positive reviews.
I will say however, if something does go wrong with buy.com, you're stuck with emails and days before resolution since their phone customer support is non-existent. "
"Tried to cancel order about 1 1/2 hours after making order. Was told they were unable to cancel but they did cancel the $15 discount coupon and charged my credit card $15 more than the original invoice. After several emails they offered a $15 gift card instead of crediting my account for the correct amount.
Eventually they credited the $15 overcharge and when I refused delivery of item they credited total amount. Satisfied now but was a hassle."
"Ignore the rating for Buy.com. I haven't dealt with a better site yet. I ordered an iCurve (laptop stand) from the because they had the lowest price I could find. I ordered it on a Sunday and it was here by Tuesday using the free shipping option. The product arrived in great condition with no cosmetic damage to the box or item. "
