"Placed an order ofr a $355 20.1" widescreen LCD with a $15 coupon, that was said to be in stock. Their policy is to ship in 1-2 days if it is in stock, but it didn't ship until four days later.
On the fourth day, I tried to cancel the order. I recieved an email saying that the order was already shipped, and my $15 coupon was removed (poorly written website software), and a charge for $355 showed on my credit card.
Customer service was quick to resolve the issue. My email was responded to in less than half a day, and they took care of everything how they should have, no problem at all.
They took too long to ship the product (Out of stock for a day or two perhaps?) and the website software could be better written.
I would buy from again, if they had the cheapest price."

Item comes and it is Wrong, different model, different SKU#, we call customer service and are told it will take 25 days to process an RMA then we can return items for correct model.

Three business days later my order still hadn't shipped, so I e-mail them asking what the hold up is. I received this response:

A bullsh*t excuse for them skipping over my order, because I'd been checking the site daily to see if my order had shipped, and the item I bought was in stock until May 3rd, well over 72 hours after I made my purchase. I know Buy.com has an above average inventory system, and in the past they've shipped my orders the next business day, so the fact that 3 business days had passed and my order hadn't shipped, and the fact that I was never e-mailed regarding the backordered status (I had to e-mail them to find this out) means my order must've never gotten through to their warehouse.
I was planning on having this MP3 player for an upcoming trip, now that's not gonna happen, not only that but they have no ETA for a restock on the item I ordered. It could be weeks before they get more, and they were planning on holding onto my $67.45 (paid by cash transfer via PayPal) until they got one, unacceptable.
I e-mailed them again complaining about the time sensitive rebate I'd most likely no longer qualify for, they offered to give me credit had my order not shipped in time to submit the rebate, but what the hell good is that if I have to wait for an unknown amount of time to get one while they sit with my $67.45 in their pocket? I won't have the MP3 player in time for my trip and I won't get the deal I was expecting to get on it. I ended up cancelling the order, and this will be my last purchase from Buy.com."
"I've purchased many merchandises from them in the past several years. Their shipping process has been very fast. As a matter of fact, everything I had ordered always arrived in 2 days! On the other hand, I have to admit that I've never had to return a merchandise or deal with their service department so far. Overall, I recommend them."
"I looked at the email special and the price was great. I checked out comparative prices and it beat everything out there. I checked the manufacturer, as this was a new product to me and read reviews about this product. Then I ordered from Buy.com. The free shipping wasn't. I cancelled that order and reordered trying to make sure I got the free shipping. Free Shipping didn't work. I registered email complaints. Finally an email was willing to send me a phone number if I wanted it. I did, and they sent it. I called. It was apparently "my fault" that I didn't select the "free shipping" because I missed a check box. I was talking to a service rep and I decided I would just make sure both orders were cancelled and went to Newegg instead.
Another thing was that I have never been so inundated with advertisements on a web site. They even interrupted my purchase to ask for other purchases and offered discounts until I realized what the offer really was from the small print. so I wasted a lot of time and still didn't buy anything from Buy.com. I won't be back for anything, no matter what the price.
Now that I've seen the resellerratings.com web site I can see their low score and the really poor showing for customers who will return to buy their next purchase from Buy.com. I hope Buy.com's backers institute some changes to make this site beeter.

"Buy.com advertised the 19” LCD monitor for sale, which qualifies for free shipping. They also had $30 coupon if you apply for their credit card. I did so. They sent me a confirmation for credit approval and instructions how to redeem the discount coupon.
I added the item to my shopping basket and the PRE-selected shipping cost of $25 has been added to the price. Automatically was selected the 2 Business Day shipping option. Of course, immediately I tried to change that option to Budget shipping which as Buy.com promised is free for the item I am going to buy. Guess what??? The Budget Shipping Option’s Ratio Button was Grayed and whatever I did, couldn’t click on it. Only 2 options were active: Second Day: 2 Business days and Next day: 1 business day. I thought after completing the order, automatically my shipping and handling option will be corrected and will show up in the statement. But that never happened. Immediately I sent an e-mail to their customer service. I know that, they are hiding their phone number from customers. In my email I explained that it wasn’t my fault and if it is not possible to remove that shipping charge from the order, then I am giving my authorization to cancel the order. They responded in 3-4 hours saying that the cancellation request has been sent but the order has been sent to warehouse and probably impossible to stop it. If they had a phone number I could call them and stop every thing right away. I don’t believe that usually so quick any company is processing the orders and impossible to stop it. Literally took me 2 minutes after placing the order to cancel it. What the Buy.com is hoping, that may be I’ll change my mind and will accept the LCD monitor when I’ll see it at my door step. I know that they could stop the order and even to change the shipping method before using the 2 Business Day shipping option. They didn’t care. They didn’t try to do anything to satisfy their customer. Only automated emails were coming to me every few hours with stupid DO NOT REPLY signature. And as I emailed them later again, I am going to refuse the item at its arrival. They are playing on the Principe, SO I AM!!!! This is NOT a $25 issue. It is PRINCIPAL ISSUE now for me. And not only Buy.com, but also any company, which will not respect my business and will try to cheat, tomorrow will be there, where all closed companies are now. I will never buy from them again!

"One of the worst experiences I have ever endured. I was sold a pair of speakers, told the item was unavailable, cancelled the order and told not to do anything more. Two days later, the order was shipped with no advance notice. The item was delivered in substandard packagaging that had been damaged in shipping.
