"I bought some parts that ended up being incorrect (yes my fault) a few months ahead of time for a project, and although it fell outside of the returns period, I asked if I could return the incorrect parts for credit so I could purchase the correct parts from them, the said no. The parts are unopened and unused, there should not be a reason not to allow the return. I would pay for the shipping back. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from them again. "

"I’ve changed my 1 star review to a 5 star review after receiving some stellar support after the 1 star review was posted.
Particularly- Damon Larson with CarID was the sole reason to turn this review around. He responded quickly after the review, took the time to understand my issues and addressed them quickly, efficiently and was all over staying on top of the resolutions. After a bad experience initially, he personally renewed my faith in online resellers. He even went out of his way to throw in a cherry on top with a small store credit as a gesture of good faith which I was not expecting.
Damon I can’t recommend you enough for leading the human element of Customer Service.

"I live in a rural area so more and more I am purchasing things online. I would say that by and large most of the people I deal with are nice folks who seem to care. It is a little more rare to find someone that works hard to find what you need rather than just take an order from what you asked for. Jeremy did just that. I knew I wanted to replace my taillight housings with something more modern. I could find the old ones on the website but not a new replacement. Jeremy found an option in short order. Exactly what I wanted. Then he looked quite a while for some led bulbs They ended up being more expensive than I expected so I decided not to purchase them. Jeremy didn’t bat an eye though. He just suggested that I give the new halogen lights a try and if I wasn’t satisfied then go with the led’s. So that’s what I did. The overall experience was a good one. "

"I use to use Rock Auto but their customer service and shipping manners has gotten very bad in the past few years. I send back more damaged in shipping items than I keep from them. Purely due to poor packaging by RA. I can now price match and switch over to CARiD and receive items packaged properly and arriving safely. Which speeds up my work and causes me less down time. "
