"I needed an automatic license plate recognition system to replace the manual one I had. The system from CCTV Camera pros has captured every plate that has passed by with ease. The presets were almost spot on but I did have to adjust my system to switch to day and night mode automatically with the IR lights constantly on to get everything covered."

"My 20+ year old Camera Dvr's programing failed on 6/1/2021 i could watch and access my cameras but zero recording ability. I contacted my local security company and got no return response so i called a company 100 miles away, they came right out and after mapping my buliding and lot gave me an estimate to upgrade all cameras (16) and add 6 more $60000.00 installed, way out of budget so i began an internet search to just replace the DVR and stumbled across CCTV Camera Pros, i emailed them on a friday night with what i had and an hour latter recieved a reply recommending a replacement DVR that would still run on my old BNC rg5 cable. after a few more questions i ordered a new Veiwtron 16 channel DVR it came about a week later due to a FedEx problem. i replaced my old unit on Thanksgiving day took about an 1/2 hour to swap out the wires. fired the unit up and it asked for a password i googled the default that would not work so contacted CCTV Pros and got a reply on thanksgiving day . (a few days latter i realized the Password had been taped to the front of the DVR my bad).
also ordered 1 replacement camera to see how much better 1080p was over 480p ALOT. so will slowly start replacing my old cameras in the future. i am about $59000 to the good and am very happy with the customer service and recommendations."

"I ordered a DVR to replace a failing DVR from another supplier. The DVR from CCTV Camera Pros is far superior to the one I had and I could not be more pleased. The only problem that I had was logging on for the first time, as the password in the documentation was incorrect. I emailed a quick note to Mike over a holiday weekend and to my amazement, Mike responded within an hour with the correct password for me. Superior service ...
I also love the videos that the send out occasionally with updates to products as well tips on how to do things. I also like the fact that this is a veteran owned business which I am honored to support. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

"Carlos was excellent as he tried to get a couple of my computers working with/for remote viewing. I have an XP that was the only computer that allowed me to keep my cameras on 24/7 if I wanted to. I had several other XP's that we just couldn't get online for the remote viewing. All my other computers (Vista, Windows 8 & windows 10 does not give me this feature. The newer models only held the view for 10 minutes or so. I previously had the Q-See system & I never had that problem with any of my computers. I chose your company because I was able continue to use my Q-See cameras. However, with that being said, I would have liked it better if I was able to use my newer computers (Vista, Windows 8 &10) just incase my XP stops working, to have a continual view on my monitor. I find this to be an unfortunate issue with your camera system. I need to have the view of the outside street in front of the house from the time I get up in the morning until the time I go to sleep. This was/is a major disappointment to me. "

I spoke to Carlos and he told me that some of the PCs that you are referring to are very old Pentium class machines and that one of them has an operating system that is 20 years old and is no longer supported by Microsoft. Unfortunately, most modern software will not run on hardware and operating systems that old. This includes the NVMS software for our Viewtron DVRs and NVRs. I was pleased to see that you were happy with the tech support that you received form Carlos. I was also happy to see a 5 star rating for overall customer service and product shipping / delivery. I wondered why you gave us an overall rating of 3 stars. It seems like this should have at least been a 4 star rating. I was wondering if you would reconsider the overall rating that you gave us. If I can help in any way, please let me know.

"We were struggling to fit a DVR with our surveillance system needs for Mac, PC and mobile compatibility. Not only were they the only ones I could find that had or at least explained that on their Web site, best of all, they provided ample support so I could better understand the fit before we bought. Since buying a month or so ago, they are still just as responsive to questions. They may be the only surveillance equipment company that is this accessible. We didn’t even shop the item after seeing how awesome their support is."
