"This is the second time this happened they shipped my order FEDEX home and no one is home after 5pm and they try delivering after 5pm both times and I did not get the order when it was scheduled for delivery.Why don't they use fedex or UPS ground that deliverd before 5 pm if they know no one will be there.To me it seems like FEDEX does this on purpose knowing that no one is home after 5Pm"
"Absolutely aweful experience. I've purchased a gaming console from them, checked out and received a copy of the invoice for 249.99USD.
Didn't hear anything back from them so I inquired as to the status. They told me that they couldn't verify the ship to until I contacted my cardholder as it was my office. I did so an notified them of the update as they had requested.
Now they call me back and want to charge me 271USD for shipping as their system had made a 'mistake'. 271 dollars shipping for an INVOICED 249.99 + 0 shipping! Additionally, as of this writing, I go into compute shipping on their site an it quotes me 136 for that item. So these scam artists are attempting to charge me usurous rates for a mistake in their system for a previously invoiced transaction that they refuse to honor!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I've made several orders with the Computer Geeks and I've been happy with the speed of fulfillment and the quality and prices. Recently I had a wireless dongle fail after working perfectly for several months. The support number was long distance and I did have to hold for about 10 minutes, but once I got tech support they were very helpful and they are sending me a replacement. "
"I ordered a new computer and video card for myself. However, the video card (an NVIDIA 8600GT PCI-E) was poorly packed. The display box (like you would find in a store), was shipped inside a manila envelope. When it arrived, one corner on the box looked like it was stepped on. The anti-static bag had multiple holes in it where not only the fan/heat sink assembly poked through, but the solder points on the circuit board. I plugged the video card in, in hopes that it would work. But there was display corruption on both the DVI and analog video ports, such as garbled or missing characters, and vertical bands of color down the screen; the corruption shifted and changed if you placed your finger on the card and wiggled it slightly. The next day I called geeks.com to request a replacement. I told the woman on the phone that I was disappointed that such a piece of equipment was not only treated so poorly during shipment, but was poorly packed as well. I asked that my replacement video card be shipped in an actual box, with padding, to prevent any damage during shipment. I received the replacement video card today. It arrived in a ... wait for it ... manila envelope. The real kick in the teeth is that the Fed-Ex label they send you to send the damaged item back asks you to ship the item in a box with plenty of packing to protect the item during shipment. If you, geeks.com, had done that in the first place, I wouldn't have to send it back to you. I am sorely disappointed with my experience at geeks.com, and will never buy anything from them again."
"Recently ordered a number of items. I had issues with one item, which I am not sure if it really was a defect per se, or just a poorly designed product by the manufacturer. At any rate, when I asked about it at Geeks.com they immediately issues me a full credit for the product in question. Top notch customer service attitude.
I know that Geeks.com sells many products from many different manufacturers, so they obviously can not be held resposible for the quality or functionality of everything they sell, but they certainly step up when there is an issue to make sure the customer is treated fairly and is satified.
I will definately be ordering from them more often (this was my third order from them but the previous two were many years ago).
