"My first prescription order went very well, my second and most current prescription order was a NIGHTMARE! My first order went smooth, placed the order, they called my current pharmacy to get it transferred and the order was shipped out promptly.

My second order was just terrible. I placed the order on September 2, 2010. I received one-third of it on September 24, 2010 (3 days after my last refill was gone). I order online because my insurance co-pay is $10 for three months for online orders and $10 for one month supply through retail pharmacies. So, naturally to save money I ordered online through this company. They send me only a one month supply and I call their customer service 3 times.

The first time I called I was on hold for 45 minutes and my cell phone battery died. I called again yesterday, held for 1 hour and 15 minutes and the customer service rep said she had to call the San Diego location to see why I only received one-third of the pills. The rep hung up on me. I called again for the third time and held this time for 18 minutes and the rep said that the new pharmacy that will now be refilling my medication is retail and only covers a one month supply.

So, now I waited 3 weeks for something I could have had in minutes had I gone somewhere locally.

It makes no sense now to order online when it is the same price as a local pharmacy. I asked for a refund of the $10 because I waited and I didn't get what I ordered and they can't refund me. This is terrible, they're new prescription/pharmacy system sucks. I will never buy from them again.

"for those of you having problems with your online pharmacies, try JumpRx.com. I use them. They only do next day fed-ex shipping which costs about $20, but the prices on the meds are good. I always get my meds the next day IF i place my order before 9am CST. excellent customer service. i have been using them for about 8 months and havent had any problems"

"My first order went smoothly and was happy with the price. Now a new company handles prescriptions and I have gotten automated calls for weeks now saying that they are trying to reach my Dr to get approval. I sent them a written Rx with 12 refills and now the pharmacy says that they cannot fill 3 months without Dr permission, which is BS cause its not a controlled substance and I have had many Pharmacies do this with no problem. Finally called and talked to a moron that told me this. Went to Dr and asked why he didn't call them back and his office has no record that they called. Had to get drugstore.com to fill 1 month and now see that they have charged me a ton for it. Called and talked to another moron that was rude, told them to forget it and I would never buy from them again. DON'T USE THEM, THEY SUCK!!!!!! "

"They merged with bioscrip and I can no longer get my medicine from them. It is taking 4+ weeks to get them so far, each call (which is 14+ minutes on hold) is met with excuse after excuse. To make matters worse my insurance won't accept bioscrip claims so they have to do "workarounds" now whatever that is, but they don't seem to be working. I am going through luvox withdrawl now thanks to these $&!$&s. AVOID THIS USELESS COMPANY. "

"Beware. Their prescription system has completely fallen apart.

I have a chronic condition for which I take maintenance medication. The convenience of online shopping and automatic refills made drugstore.com an attractive option, while it lasted. They have recently jumped the shark, and I can no longer recommend them.

Drugstore.com recently sold their pharmacy division to another company which has hung their customers out to dry. Part of my last order was canceled with no explanation, the rest of the order has been "processing" forever.

Customer service is difficult to reach because of long hold times, and when you finally get a human, you get all sorts of happy talk and excuses, but no real explanation of the problem or their plan to solve it.

I have run out of meds, and have been trying to get my prescriptions transferred to a local pharmacy so I can pick them up before I go out of town for several days. Of course drugstore.com is not responding to the transfer requests, so now I have to call my doctor's office at the end of the business day and hope to get through to them so they can call new prescriptions in to the local drugstore.

Now instead of walking to the mailbox, I have to drive 5 miles each way to get my meds every month. What a waste of time, gas, energy, and everything else.

"Drugstore was a good site till it changed it's pharmacy sometime back. Earlier the medications (prescription medicines) would be delivered (if not shipped) by 2 business days. Nowadays, it takes over 3 weeks and still nothing happens. The insurance information from the previous pharmacy never got ported over so the entire prescription handling is a mess. The customer service is even worse with over 45 mins wait time for an answer and a bunch of false promises. For the above mentioned order number, I called in over 10 times and emailed over thrice yet I never received a single satisfactory answer. Only lies were promised to me - 1 day shipping, tomorrow shipping, issue resolved within a day and so on. My wife needs medication urgently for severe heartburn but she had to go without one (compounding her pain) for over 3 weeks now. Finally, I had to transfer the prescription to my local pharmacy. Worst Service ever !!! Buyers beware of ordering prescription medication from Drugstore.com.

I have been a fan of drugstore for the last 3 years and more - now I'm never going to return to it. !!!

"When Drugstore.com has something on sale, you can find some pretty good deals on everyday household items. When you add free shipping and the Bing cashback program on top of that, the deals can be terrific.

Bing cashback is ending in a month, and as a last hurrah, Drugstore.com raised its Bing cashback to 25% on everything you order. This is terrific, except for one problem -- Drugstore.com drops the Bing cashback from your order half the time!

If you use a coupon, or pay with PayPal, or use Google Checkout, or god knows what, they drop the Bing Cashback from your order. YOU AREN'T INFORMED OF THIS. It just never shows up in your Bing account. When you call Drugstore.com to get credited, they tell you to send your order back, get a refund, then try placing your order again. HOW STUPID IS THAT?

I have made 3 recent purchases from Drugstore.com using Bing cashback, and this was the first to actually get the credit.

"I shop at Drugstore.com every few months. Their prescription prices are cheaper than local pharmacies, but my purchases are non-prescription items and I have been very please with their selections and customer service. They really try to take care of the customer. Their standard shipping can be slow, depending where you live. All orders ship from I believe NJ, so ground will arrive next business day if you are in that region, but can take a week to arrive in CA."

"I originally would have said that although their prices aren't great... And their offers are usually better for new customers than returning customers... They aren't too bad.. Until denying my latest purchase cash back offer.. Leaving the money I spent much higher than any other source for diapers.. I strong recommends others avoid them... They do not care about repeat customers, and spam your inbox constantly after purchase. You can find better deals elsewhere, with faster shipping times.. avoid them if at all possible.. "

"This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with online or otherwise. They do not follow their own procedures, they lie and they take advantage of people. Their web site does not work properly and will submit orders whether you want it to or not, and then they hide behind the well we can't take it back once it ships mentality leaving the customer with no recourse. Their customer service is a joke, please do business elsewhere unless you enjoy helping large corporations do nothing more than make money. They have no interest in actually helping their customers. "Cancelled an international order without any explanation.
First, they wanted me to call them about my billing information and during a conversation girl said she's gonna confirm order. Five minutes later I get "Authorization Failed" email.

Also, fedex international fare is ridiculously high, they wanted over $70 for a smallest package.
