"Same situation as the others. Charged my credit card immediately, no contact with company since, and they are impossible to get a hold of using any form of communication.

Personally, I fully understand that an online vendor can change the order at any time as supplies or other logistic problems occur. I don't have a problem with that so long as they are quick to refund my money, which doesn't seem to be the case.

What concerns me is there is a serious security hole in their online application as well (MySQL based?). Whenever accessing my order information online (using my correct password), I get someone else's private order information as well as my own. Not only is this person's information exposed to me, but I'm assuming other folks can see mine as well. I just hope they don't accidently apply someone else's order onto my credit card.

I've reported the problem to them naturally, but just like every other attempt to reach them, I got an auto-reply message back with no other answer since.

Needless to say, I won't be doing any more business with these folks until they make an active (and public) effort to correct all these problems.

"I ordered 19" monitor despite all bad reviews about this reseller.
And look what I got today morning, 08/05/02:

"I ordered a Belkin VA1200 UPS from this company, at the price of 99.99, which was posted on their website. For a week, there was absolutely no communication form this company, and emails went unanswered. I tried calling their support number, and got a canned automated message, saying that they were in the process of moving their facilities. This lasted for a week. What kind of ineptitude must be involved, for a company to take over a week to move?

Anyway, I went back to their website after they cancelled my order, without supplying a reason. Sure they claimed they weren't able to ship it in a timely order, and hence, cancelled the order, but they never give a good reason for why they weren't able to ship on a timely order. They were probably too busy counting all their gains, from a countless number of credit cards, that they fraudently charged, without ever shipping out a product.

On top of all of this. I went back to their website, and was going to order the Belkin va1200 UPS again, but they raised the price from 124.99 to 99.99, and my shipping would cost roughly 20.00 more than my original order. So they cancelled my order, without any given reason, have had zero communication at all with me on this matter, and when I go back, they want to charge me 50% more, for the same item.

I always check the reseller ratings on a merchant, before purchasing from them for the first time. When I came here the first time to look at EMS Computing, it had a pretty decent rating fo 7.xx or so. As you can see, that rating has fallen dramatically, and with good reason. This company is no longer worthwhile to deal with. If you want to risk your time and money on this company, good luck to you. You'll need it.

"DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT order from this company under any circumstances. They will charge your credit card immediately, then not ship the item for well over a week, to finally tell you they are sorry and due to the delay they've canceled your order. (This despite the fact that the item is in stock and available) Mainly because when they run a special, they do not honor the price. If you order an item that is grossly overpriced, it will ship within a week at best. No one will EVER take your customer service calls or reply to your emails. If this isn't FRAUD, it's as close as it gets. DO NOT BUY FROM EMSCOMPUTING!

"Do NOT deal with this company! I placed an order for a computer case and mother board 10 days ago and my credit card was billed immediately. Ten days pass with no shipping info and just today I get an email from them cancelling my order. They will not even answer their telephone. This is not a way to run a business.I will NOT ever order from them again. "

"Just another customer who got onslaughted by this poorly ran company. Purchased the Logitech z560s with the the free shipping then three days later I get a nice letter saying they can't fulfill the order and promptly deny to ship the product and cancel my other, hooray!
