"I will NOT ever, ever, ever order from EMS again, even if they were the last online company in the world. How dare EMS charge my credit card, hold my money for a week, and then cancel the order. Now I have to hope and pray they credit my account with the flood of other accounts they have to credit in the next 3 to 5 business days."

"Unethical company who took the money immediately and a week later cancelled order and god knows when I will get my money back. Think VERY VERY hard before buying from them. I hope they close down for their unscrupulous dealings."

"Like everyone else, I placed an order ("ships in 1-2 days") and my card was charged immediately. A week later, with no communication in the meantime, I received an outright cancellation even though they had already accepted payment for the order. This company has lost any opportunity to receive my business in the future."

"Ordered a case from this company w/ free shipping. Charged my card didn't ship the case and then they cancelled the order saying it wasn't available. The case is still for sale on their website at $30 more with shipping extra. This might possibly be the absolute worst company I have ever ordered from. "

"bought 2 cases and a monitor from them on July 28, got my order confirmation, card was charged, and then nothing until today, 8/4, when i received an email cancellation notice. Not an email asking if i wanted to cancel, but a notice that basically said "hey, thanks for loaning us a few hundred dollars interest free for a week, now go f*** yourself." I will never buy from them again."

"I had been looking for the Logitech z560 speakers for some time, and after getting an offer in my Gold Box on Amazon.com, decided to search to see how the price was. EMS Computing came up, and with free shipping, was by far the best price. I had purchased something about 1 year ago with no problem, so I decided to order. My order was confirmed, and on 7/29 my CC was charged. Then the silence...no update, no shipping info. Finally on 8/4 I got an email saying they'd cancelled my order. After reading about others, this seems to have been a scam on their part to get a short-term infusion of cash by scamming people. I will *NEVER* do business with EMS again. They are evil."

"This is the worst experience I have ever had buying something online. They advertised one price, and I ordered a few items. They charged my credit card immediately, and then one week later, they sent an email and said they cancelled the order without giving a reason why.

before they cancelled my order, I tried to contact the company to see what was going on. Any email sent to ems generated an automated response that said "everything is fine", but of course, it wasn't. There is NO way to talk to a real person -- no phone number, no email addresses. (Actually there was a phone number, but it would either be disconnected, busy, or just ring forever. I tried multiple days, and it always seemed to be something different.

Do not use this company.

"Ordered on 7/26/02 with their free shipping promotion. They charged the card on 7/29/02. Unable to contact them by email or phone. The phone is always busy. Until 8/4/02 they were sending promising autoreplies to email requests. On 8/4/02 their mailbox is full. Email bounces.
On 8/4/02 they sent email cancellation.

"I bought a TEAC CDRW drive (W540E), they took money from my credit card and a week later sent me email that the oeder is cancelled because they cannot ship it in a timely manner. Their customer service does not appear to work: on the phone they say that they are in the move to other facility and don't accept phone calls and they do not seem to read email... Will never deal with EMS again!"

Now this was about 5 days ago and I thought all was well but now today at 2:35 PM I received the following e-mail:

We have received your recent order; however, we will be unable to ship your
product(s) in a timely manner. As a result, we have cancelled your order.
In the unlikely event your credit card was charged, a full refund will be
posted to your account within 3-5 business days. We sincerely apologize
