"My order was placed on 07/31/2002. Credit Card was charged same day. Four days later (08/04/2002) email was received stating order was 'canceled'. Hopefully, they credit my account. I will also be contacting my CC company pleading my case with them due to the fact that I was charged a finance charge that most likely included this illegal credit card activity."

"Placed order on July 30, credit card was charged 7/31/02. Item ordered was not shipped. Order cancelled 8/4/02 by EMS. Still waiting for credit on credit card. In short, choose a different company to do business with since there are so many choices. Thanks."

"FRAUD! Do not order from these people!

My monitor went out, so I thought I would get a 19in Optiquest Q95 monitor from EMS for $173. EMS was offering free shipping, so I though this was a great deal.

THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD the same day!

I waited for an entire week for them to ship it.

I can not get in touch with them through phone or email.

Today (Aug 04), I get a email saying they have cancelled my order.

They RAISED THE PRICE to $233 and no longer offer free shipping!


This is fraud - they are NOT suppose to charge the card until the item ships and they are suppose to ship within the stated amount of time (24 hours).

DO NOT ORDER FROM EMS COMPUTING - youll regret it!

" Just the same story has everyone else. Ordered a UPS, got charged for it then a week later said they could not send it. It is funny how they raised the price by 50 dollars. This company use to be a good place to order parts from at a good price. I dont know what happened. Just buyer beware."

"3 strikes :

1) Business charges customer before shipment arranged
2) Business cancels orders without the request/consent of the customer
3) Business absolutely not available for any 'live' human contact... only automated and generic emails are sent from business.

They're out... take your money somewhere else. The 'being swamped with orders' excuse wears thin real fast.

My story :

Despite varying opinions on the service of EMS, I decided to jump on the chance to order a product at great price...

So much for that... the order was cancelled within' a few days and NOT BY MY REQUEST!!!

I've NEVER heard of a company CANCELLING an order simply because they were not able to 'ship the order in a timely manner'. I was one of the patient customers that was willing to sit back and wait to see what happened, but I was not even given the choice of sitting in the back order line or informed of when their current stock might be shipped.

Fortunately, they decided that planning to cancel my order didn't need to stop them from CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD!!!

Needless to say, I will be keeping an eye on the charge to see if it comes back in a 'timely manner'.

Also, the price on the item went up a good 25%, which leads me to think the price might have been a typo that they refused to own up to.

"Ordered bunch of stuff because of free shipping deal. Credit card got charged immediately. They totally ignored their own policy about shipping. To make a long story short, I never got a tracking # and they cancelled my order a week later. Wouldn't reply to email or phone. Their excuse was that they were relocating. What kind of stupid company would relocate while having a big promotion?!?"

8/4/02 received a letter saying my order has been cancelled.

Refund has not been posted to my credit card.

Where's my money?!!!

Don't ever buy from these losers. It was impossible to contact them by phone, email, and fax. Look at how badly they treat all their customers.

"This company committed fraud, plain and simple. They advertised an item at a fair price, I placed and order, they charged my creidt card, and then six days later they cancelled my order.
