"I couldn't believe how hard it was to find contact lenses after I turned 65. The prices for a tiny piece of plastic is outrageous. The first place I went to didn't sell them at all. I only went there because they were the first listed with my insurance and the closest. Then I went to Walmart with my prescription, they didn't take my insurance and without it the price was unreasonable. The same thing happened with every call I made to other opticians in my location. So I went online. Sometimes what looks good at first turns out bad in the end. Websites may offer a good price at first and then gouge you with shipping and handling.
