On the most recent transaction, I sent two LG Nexus 5X LGH790 32GB (Unlocked) phones in with an expected value of $65 dollars each.
Gazelle received the phones and amend the offer to $30 because they misidentified the phones as LG Google Nexus 5 16GB (Unlocked).
I actually had to lookup and view an image of the Nexus 5 as I have never owned one. The phones differ in the camera placement on the back and also in overall shape as the Nexus 5 has a slight curve in the case on the top and bottom.
The phones actually shows they are 5x in the system settings with 32GB.
Needless to say I rejected the counter offer and sold them through Kiwigadget for $86 each.
Whereas I would have recommended Gazelle in the past, there are better more competent resellers available."

"Sent an iPhone 6s and iPad 4 in the SAME box, both in excellent condition. The box took 3 days to reach the facility (sent on a Friday, received on a Monday). The iPad was evaluated and payment was in my PayPal account in less than 24 hours for the amount estimated.
The iPhone 6s remains MIA, after 5 days.
I am being asked to provide the iPhone 6s IMEI number in order to escalate the search; the IMEI number appears when you power up the phone when you have it in hand. Gazelle's KY facility has the phone, and apparently they have no way of locating the phone without the IMEI number.
During each call to customer service I was told that the search and evaluation of the phone would be escalated, yet in each case a customer service representative stated that the iPhone has not been located.
UPDATE: The phone still has not been located
I have made repeated calls, transferred to 2 or 3 people, and placed on hold for over 1 hour each time with no resolution. One customer service person stated that she would get back to me at a specified time; she did not.
When I contacted her the solution she came up with was: "We will send you a check overnight via FEDEX". Terrific. Problem? I will not be here to receive said check. If I was available to receive the check, the bank will not be open in order for me to deposit it, and when the ban reopens for business in 4 days, it will take an additional 5 days for this out of state check to clear; well after the holiday and defeats the purpose of selling the phone in the first place. The customer service rep's solution to that challenge? "Cash the check at a check cashing service or at a Walmart". Both operations charge a fee to cash a check, well you see where I am going with this.
Finally, out of sheer frustration, I asked to have the phone sent back to me. The customer service representative stated that they would be happy to send it back, and I would receive it in 5 business days. Really? Apparently they can locate the phone to return it, but can't locate it to evaluate and issue a payment for the trade-in.
This smacks of a bait and switch tactic.
Overall, find another way and place to trade in your phone Gazelle is definitely not the place. Do NOT do business with this organization. Sell your electronic devices to Amazon or on eBay."
