"The first set of Crane firewire spark plug wires had no markings on the wire. This 8-5005 set measured 40 ohms on the long wire, which is correct. It is sold as a very low resistance wire! Unfortunately one wire is 5" long and does not fit my 1985 flht. I ordered a second set of 8-5005 wires to get one more long wire. At least they would be matched in length and resistance. On the second set, the actual wires were marked (Firewire 8.5 mm pure silicone
25 ohm). I measured the resistance of the long wire at over 11,000 ohms? I am returning this set. These wires are regular carbon high resistance wires. This is marked as a 25 ohm wire. Yea, sure. I am told by J&P that S&S bought out Crane? Maybe Crane is dumping whatever they can rummage up! This are not the wires advertised.
I will not be ordering anything Crane again. You would think ordering 2 spark plug wires would be a snap!"

I purchased 693-053 MEMPHIS SHADES GAUNTLET FAIRING but the bracket kit "606-487" that is needed for this product was hidden in a "note below". In general, I would chalk it up to me not being perceptive enough to see the "note" however because the cost of the kit was almost as much as the fairing, I feel that it should be better communicated to the buyer because had I known that bracket kit was that expensive, I would not have bought the fairing."
