"I was very skeptical after reading reviews regarding the shipping process for Jet.com, and spent considerable time contemplating whether or not it'd be worth the slight differential in purchase price. Eventually, it resolved and I settled myself with the idea of, "what's life without taking risks?".
And in the great spirit of bargain buying from an entrepreneurial startup, I am pleased to say it was well worth the investment.
If you're lucky, the site will offer you promotional codes that'll discount your retail price even further on top of receiving a very modest discount for using debit for purchase. My anticipated $14.99 retail (which was the best retail price i could find for the item to begin with) became marked down to an even more affordable $11.77 for an impressive 22% in savings! (The site seems heavily invested in the idea of giving its customers optimal savings.)
Then came the worry about the actual delivered product, which didn't last very long because it arrived relatively quickly (4 days - free shipping). I don't exactly remember the condition of the package, but the product was received, fully intact.
Now there have obviously been a lot of issues with the company, and I'd strongly advise versing yourself with the company policy or the recommendations of others in order to receive a satisfying experience, but optimization of service in an industry is what our country should strive for, and I can say honestly that I've been absolutely satisfied with my service.

"Poor customer service. Ordered a graphics card for our son for Christmas and when it was opened on Christmas Day it was broken. Emailed Jet about the issue we were told no replacement was availabile but their website showed they had the exact item for sale on that very day. Told to send item back and we would recieve a refund 2-3 weeks after they recieved the broken item. Said we could reorder and they would honor the price we paid when we called to reorder we were informed they will not honor the price. Now we are out the item and our money for at least 2-3 weeks! It is no way to run a business!"
"Jet.com selected Limited Goods for my 2 items I ordered. Jet.com said that the shipment would arrive in 2 to 5 business days. The shipment arrived in 8 business days, which excludes the Thanksgiving holiday and weekends, or 13 calendar days. That is way more than 2 to 5 business days. The local US post office took 3 post office days to deliver once Fed Ex shipped the package across the country. The US post office had no record as to what happened to the package when it was supposed to be delivered the first day. 1 of the 2 items arrived damaged because Limited Goods used a bag for shipping instead of a box with padding. Jet.com refused to ship a new item for the damaged item when I requested and instead returned the purchase price minus part of the $10 coupon and part of the 2 item savings after I shipped back the broken item to Limited Goods. So, I lost most of my $10 jet.com coupon. Then, the return shipping label from jet.com incorrectly said bill to sender. I crossed out the bill to sender line after talking to jet.com customer service. They told me I would not be billed, but did not offer to provide a new label that did not say bill to sender. I ended up purchasing the damaged item on Amazon.com and it was even cheaper than jet.com at that point due to Amazon.com lowering the price to get me to buy the item. Amazon.com used a box with padding and the item arrived in good condition. This was my first time using jet.com and due to all of the issues I had, I will never use jet.com again."
"I ordered two items from jet.com on 12/09/2015. One arrived three days later. The other I am still waiting for as of 12/28/2015. It is a Christmas story that I wanted to read to my child before Christmas fulfilled by Barnes and Noble. The "track package" option sends me to google.com's Narcotics Anonymous search.
I have contacted jet.com twice and spoke with friendly people who have not been able to help me locate my book. The second customer service rep. suggested that Christmas may be to blame for the unusually long delay. However, I ordered some gifts online after placing this order and received them all before Christmas.
jet.com has great prices and their customer service representatives are friendly but I will stick to already established online fulfillment companies who guarantee shipping times for now."
"Buying parts for a rig, and saw that my Crucial MX200 SSD's (~$199 retail) went on sale for $125 at Newegg. Almost immediately, they were out of stock, then a few minutes later, back in stock at $145. Great. Well, reddit poster mentioned jet.com, so I took a look. WIth a discount code and other goodies, managed to get the price down to $99 each (!). Too good to be true, I thought. Checked here, horrible rating, went for it anyway. Figured their M.O. would be to offer prices they can't meet, then cancel order when they couldn't find fulfillment, and worst case I'd be back where I started with no drives. 3 days later my drives arrived. Super happy. Certainly willing to try again if they are best price. Drives came fast, even during Christmas rush."
"I ordered a Lenovo 10-inch tablet from jet as my first order. The price was $20 less than any place else I can find on the internet. They delivered it promptly. The tablet was just as advertised. A name brand Lenovo tablet in original packaging unopened and brand new. Unfortunately when I opened it and turned it on there was a small red dot on the screen. I immediately contacted customer service and was told that they were sold out of the product. Not to worry they said they will track down a replacement and have it shipped right away. True to their word I was emailed the confirmation of the product being shipped. They ended up ordering it from Newegg, probably at a loss, to this very satisfied customer. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again."

"I made my first purchase on Jet.com this past Sunday 12/20. Bought a 5TB Hard Drive. They had it for the lowest price I have ever seen it advertised for so I jumped on it. After placing the order I looked at reviews for Jet.com and became real nervous since many of the reviews were bad. At check out I was told that the item would arrive in 5-7 business days. I figured I would be lucky if I received it by the end of the year. Well, to my surprise I came home today, Wednesday 12/23 and a package with the hard drive was waiting for me. The strange thing is that it was shipped and packed by Newegg.com with the Jet.com Packing List enclosed. I went to Newegg and they are selling the same exact hard drive for nearly $60 more that what I paid. This is my first experience with Jet.com and I couldn't be more satisfied."
