"While I have not received my furniture yet, it was frustrating to get to the point of ordering and customizing. The first issue was: I ordered chairs that were actually not deliverable to my area because of a “glitch” in the website. There was no phone call or explanation. They just cancelled order with only an email to inform me of the issue. Leaving me to have to reach out to customer service to figure out what was deliverable to my area. Then, I picked out new chairs and ordered them. I received the swatch kit. I chose my swatch only to find it had been discontinued and “accidentally” included in my swatch kit. While these issues are not overtly horrible, they have made the buying and customizing process difficult. And frankly, made the company appear negligent and sloppy. I hope the final product is worth the headache."

"I placed an order based on a specific delivery window prior to arrival of houseguests. I received a confirmation email 2 days later with a new delivery window that was 10-14 days past the original dates. I contacted support immediately and was told they couldn’t expedite nor cancel my order. This was a bait and switch. I never would’ve ordered this sofa if the lead teams didn’t meet my needs. I filed a complaint with the BBB but Joybord doesn’t care. With service like this, Joybird will not remain in business. Caveat Emptor."

Re; delivery, it was a shining example of underpromising and overdelivering. At the risk of me buying a quickly-promised couch elsewhere, they told me upfront it could take a couple of months to deliver. But then I got a notification that it was arriving just one week from my purchase date. And then the delivery van showed up early.
So I was pleasantly surprised all around."
