"Denise and I are really happy that we decided to purchase a chair for our home office from Joybird! Not only is the chair comfortable, beautiful, and well-made, but the purchasing experience was great!
First off, we weren't sure what color fabric we wanted, but we wanted to purchase while it was on sale. Fortunately, Joybird allowed us to pay for the chair at the sale price without selecting the fabric. Instead, they sent us a box full of swatches a few days later and we followed up once we'd made a decision (Key Largo Coral for all the cool kids).
Joybird sent us periodic emails as our chair went through each stage of the build process. It was great to get the reminders as the work progressed rather than wondering if my order had fallen into a black hole somewhere on the Internet.
Delivery was a snap. I had a call a week or two in advance to schedule a delivery time, then a reminder call the day before. The delivery crew showed up in the scheduled timeframe, got the chair in, setup, and removed all the packing material in about 5 minutes! They were quick and professional and they didn't scratch my walls.
Then, about a week after we got the chair the Joybird team even sent us a personalized thank-you card. It was a nice touch to cap off a great experience.
And the chair has been great. It's a classy design, it's comfortable, and it feels really sturdy and solid. We couldn't be happier!"

"I recently downsized homes and one of the first things I needed to replace was a sofa. A friend told me about his Joybird sofa but I was hesitant to order something basically sight unseen. I visited furniture showrooms with my tape measure and dimensions but nothing was feeling right. I needed something that would fit in a smaller space while also providing enough seating and avoiding a windowsill. I used the Joybird VR app to get an idea of how the Eliot reversible sofa would look and it looked like it would fit the space perfectly. I ordered fabric swatches (took a poll with friends to choose one because they all looked amazingly fun) and then placed my order on April 19. I braced myself for a months-long waiting period, but it was delivered May 11! The sofa fit the space exactly like the VR app predicted (nice work app developers!) and it is so comfortable. It's cushy but firm and it still feels supportive even after 6+ months of me, a bf, and two dogs bouncing on and off on a daily basis.
Speaking of dogs, the dogs have dropped bits of mud a couple of times, drooled on the sofa after eating a biscuit, and released a metric ton of fur. I dropped a bit of pasta sauce on it and maybe some wine. The fabric is resilient enough that you can soak up liquids and (since I bought a solvent-based cleaner fabric) following the directions on the website for cleaning takes off dirt and stains while not leaving any evidence of cleaning behind.
If I had the need for more furniture in my tiny little house, I'd definitely go back to Joybird for more."
"I love the firmness of the sectional and everything about it. I strongly recommend ordering the swatch kit for an exact match.
The only glitch in the process, for me, was that once the furniture was with the shipping carrier, I got no more updates until it was a day or two before delivery. That was frustrating. Otherwise everything, including the delivery guys, was excellent. "

I have had the worst online experience and dealt with the worst customer service in my dealings with Joybird.
--- We were very nervous with the swatches as they are so small so it meant a lot to us to drop $3600 on an online sofa. We did because Joybird say you can return it no cost if you don't it, so great. NOT! I will go into detail below
--- So updates of construction are great everything is good, then the sofa arrives. Delivery guys take it upstairs and then get everything put together until they try and connect it. The brackets are 1-2" off from each other and that would be fine if they weren't machined in so that you couldn't just adjust them up or down. I tell the guys just leave it and I will contact Joybird.
--- My wife comes home sees the couch and decides you know what if its defective anyways we are going to ask for a new swatch as well since this is not a simple fix. Joybird's solution for this issue is to reach out to local handymen in the area and see if anyone can fix the couch. Sorry, but I would assume piece it together myself before I let them send some random handy man that they have never met or dealt with before come work on a $3600 couch.
--- I reach out to Joybird and send them photos. It takes 2 days for a response, but its not the time that bothers me its the response. They respond very generically not answering any of my questions. So I reply again trying to ask again what my options are, the lady just copy and pastes the original reply. SO am I talking to a robot that doesn't read emails or someone who doesn't care. I try again and same thing, so then I have to make a big fuss to get anyone else to talk to me.
--- Their solution for exchanges is you have to buy a new couch from them and wait them to pick up the new couch before they refund you. So that means you are out $7200 until they pick-up the old couch. Your screwed if you get rid of your old couch to make room for the new one, unless you want to sit on throw pillows for 2 months while they make a new one.
--- The above is an inconvenience as long as they hold up their end of the bargain. Surprise, they delivered the new couch today but failed to pick up the old one. Delivery guys said they never ordered to remove the old one and there is nothing they can do. Honestly I will store the sofa for these people I just want my $3600 they owe me in the meantime so I don't feel so strapped at Christmas. Called customer service 9 times to try and get someone on the phone so we could get the delivery guys to take the sofa and get my refund. No one called back until the guys had left, in which case the lady told me to pound sand and that she had no idea how many days it would take to reschedule.
--- Now onto the quality. $3600 buys you looks but not comfort, the sofas are stiff. I am sure they will break in over 10 years, but who knows. The sleeper pull-out is no better than your grandmothers 20 year old sleeper she has in her living room. You are better off going to a furniture store and buying from them. Oh did I mention that instead of installing the brackets incorrectly on the new sofa, they just left them off completely so the new sectional doesn't connect.
--- I honestly don't even know if its worth the hassle to try and get them to fix this one. I think their customer service teams goal is just to be defensive and wear you down until you just say "Screw it, I'll live with this POS" I hope this review helps someone on the fence look elsewhere, but Idoubt it because this will probably be deleted so not to affect their survey scores."

I texted the company for an update and voila, the sofa was suddenly ready to ship. The sofa itself is a really beautiful color but be warned that crumbs will end up in the tufted areas"

"I am extremely happy with my Joybird purchase! They were communicative throughout the whole process - sending emails to update me and even sent a mailed card to thank me for purchasing from them. I love that touch! I ordered the Lewis sectional during the labor day sale and chose to pick my fabric later since I hadn't decided on that yet. I appreciate that they let you do that - so you are able to take advantage of the sale price. Delivery was set up through a 3rd party (JB Hunt) and they contacted me and scheduling the delivery was easy. They actually arrived almost first thing within their delivery window (they called about 20 minutes ahead of time too), so I didn't have to hang out for hours waiting. They put everything together, so I didn't have to deal with that.
The couch looked as expected and is a great quality. The color is wonderful (essence ash) and the style even better than I envisioned. The fabric itself has been holding up well to my cats so far - they like to use their nails to try and scratch it, but the fabric still looks good and hasn't gotten messed up. You can tell it's a grown up couch and is high quality. But honestly, comfort is huge too - I couldn't really know from pictures/descriptions with absolute certainty that it was going to actually be comfortable. But, it truly is! I think it's more comfortable than my mattress to be honest. "

Joybird does all the right things to get you to purchase. However, once you hit the confirm button it all goes downhill. You know what, I'm not even going to go into all the details of what happened. Why waste more of my time on this company. Below are the highlights with dates:
4/7/18 - After doing research and receiving samples. We decided to go with the Hughes Sofa in Taylor felt gray. Estimated arrival 4/18-24.
... 2 left cushions, wait for replacement. Continue waiting. Wrong cushion again, wait for replacement again.
9/24/18 - Finally have a complete couch after waiting and receiving the wrong right side cushion TWICE! The final replacement cushion was delivered in the worst shape one could/should ever receive a package. No care went into protecting the item. The box was ripped and torn open in 6 spots.
There are better companies out there that show better quality control on their products and respect to their customers. Never again Joybird, Never again!"
"We were excited to find a bed frame that matched our bedroom furniture. After reading the reviews, I understood the delivery would take time and we were willing to wait. In fact, the bed was delivered before we expected. JoyBird has recently been acquired by Laz-y-Boy and the delivery system was now being handled by Laz-y-Boy which was less than wonderful in terms of communication. However, Joybird personnel were outstanding in keeping us posted of progress and estimated delivery time.
Once the bed frame arrived, my husband and I assembled it in less than one hour with only a phillips head screwdriver. The construction is substantial and the extra footing keeps our bed balanced.
The only aspect we did not take into account is we have a 14" mattress, which fits perfectly in the frame - however our mattress is too heavy for one person to lift to change fitted sheet. So we had to add our box springs which gives us an almost 2-story bed! We still love the bed frame and my husband loves the mattress, so we just got two footstools and take a running jump into bed each night and try not to fall out! It's really not that high - it's just the mattress fit so well in the frame, we didn't want to add the box springs!
