"GOT MY PIECE OF FURNITURE. IT CAME WITH STAIN ON IT, COULD HAVE BEEN WHEN IT WAS MANUFACTURED OR FROM DELIVERY. THERE WERE ALSO STRINGS HANGING OFF EVERYWHERE. ONE OF THE BUTTONS WAS ALREADY COMING OFF, AND HAD A STRING COMING OUT FROM UNDER IT. THE TUFTING WAS DONE UNEVEN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PIECE, SOME JUST SEWED RIGHT ON TOP OF FABRIC AND NOT TUFTED AT ALL. WANTED TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE THEY SUGGESTED THEY SEND ME A CLEANING KIT AND SOME SHEARS, ALMOST COMICAL. NO ONE WANTS TO OR HAS THE TIME TO REMOVE A STAIN FROM A BRAND NEW PIECE OF FURNITURE OR SHOULD HAVE TOTRIM IT, THAT SHOULD BE DONE IN PRODUCTION. I WANTED TO EXCHANGE IT, BUT THEY SAID IF I DID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ONE AND WHEN THEY PICKED UP THE OTHER AND DELIVERED THE NEW ONE THEY WOULD THEN RETURN MY MONEY - SO I HAVE TO BE OUT ANOTHER X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS FOR A MONTH WHILE THEY FIX AN ORDER THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHIPPED LOOKING THE WAY IT DID? INSTEAD OF PROCESSING AN EXCHANGE LIKE A NORMAL COMPANY THEY ARE APPARENTLY OKAY WITH JUST A RETURN....AND A POSSIBLE REORDER WHICH MEANS THEY THEN PAY FOR DOUBLE SHIPPING. "My fiance and I ordered (2) Soto chairs back in February. Both were in stock in the configuration of stain and cushion that we wanted. We placed the order and received plenty of updates on shipping, as well as delivery notifications to set up the in-home delivery service. The gentlemen unboxed the chairs and left them in my living room upon my request with the foam and plastic intact on the chairs. Since the shipment arrived during my lunch break, I left the chairs and went back to my office.
When I got back home later that evening, I started to take the plastic and foam padding off the chairs. One of the chairs was absolutely flawless, the other chair frame for some reason was dusty, and upon inspecting it I noticed a small brown stain of the back of the back-cushion, and more importantly noticed a silvery hazy spot on the tip of the armrest and the armrest itself — almost as no stain was applied to those spots, or maybe some sort of haze in the poly coating?
I contacted Joybird right away and my account was handled by two absolutely amazing customer service reps — Christine Ramirez, and Athenas O. Right away they suggested that they remake us a set of pillows, and then send out a stain stick pen for the armrests. I received the pain in a couple of days and did the best I could to cover the silvery hazy spots. I was still unhappy with the result. I took pictures and sent them over for review. Extremely apologetic for the inconvenience, they placed an order for a new frame. It was not in stock, nor were the cushions, so we had two orders in production while hanging on to the damaged chair in the meantime.
Anytime that I inquired about status updates, shipping, or just general questions regarding our case, Athenas and Christine were responsive (usually within 24 hours) and extremely helpful. Not to mention they were as nice as could be, and always upbeat and positive. Our new chair and cushions arrived last week and were absolutely flawless and beautiful. Despite the manufacturing defect, I would absolutely order from Joybird again. Their customer service, willingness to go the extra mile, positive attitude, and standing behind their product and word, has earned a customer for life — oh and the chairs look great in our mid-century themed room.

"Super disappointed. My husband and I were excited to order a Joybird sofa finally. We have admired them and visited the showroom in High Point. We have ordered from Joybird previously for business.
I ordered a quick ship (3-day ) Lewis sectional on 4/16 with an understanding of 3-day ship date and 7-day transit time. Today's date is 4/25, and the sofa has still not shipped. Four calls and a messenger chat later, the only thing that the Joybird reps can confirm is the following: I ordered a quick ship (3-day), it's indeed in stock, it has not been wrapped, nor has it shipped. Each of the Joybird reps assured me that I would receive a call back with a sofa update, today's rep even went so far as to say within the hour. No callback, no emails, no sofa. I still want to believe that this will be the best sofa ever, but this experience is killing any quick ship vibes. It's GOT season folks, and we need this sofa. "

"So far I've ordered four pieces from Joybird - a chair, ottoman, rug and wall art. I love each and every one! (The so far in the previous sentence means I'll be ordering more!)
The pieces themselves are both beautiful and comfortable. I'll admit that I was nervous about ordering things without seeing them, but the Joybird's no-hassles return policy allayed that fear. (And of course I didn't end up using it!)
Joybird's customer support was amazing throughout the build process and after. It takes a bit of time from order date to arrival, but they send frequent updates. When I had a small problem with the upholstery finish on my ottoman, Joybird went above and beyond. The problem was on the bottom - the corners weren't mitered properly so the edges were raw. They would've sent a technician to repair it, but since I'm pretty handy with a staple gun, they gave me the opportunity to fix it myself. We sent pictures back and forth and were both thrilled with the results - less hassle than sending someone AND my warranty remains in effect!
I get tons of compliments on my living room & I've recommended Joybird to many people. Now back to the site to search for my next treasure!"

"I am so in love with Joybird! I got the Hughes Sectional in Key Largo Coral and I literally cannot say enough amazing things about not only the product but the company as well. The entire process, from getting my swatch kit, to delivering the couch was completely flawless. I ordered the couch to be delivered after I moved and they made the whole process so easy and stress free.The delivery was on time, they set it up and took away all the trash. "From the moment I started interacting with Joybird, it's been an enjoyable journey.
I ordered a swatch kit which arrived quickly and included all fabric option swatches and wood finishes. It was super helpful to help compare against the colors/finishes already in our space. I also love that they feature real-life customer photos and list the fabric/finish to help you visualize what the color combos look like in real space, as opposed to the white background/stock-photo view.
Once our sofa was ordered, they had an email campaign that updated us as the sofa was built: When the materials were ordered, when it was constructed, as it went through quality assurance, etc. It was super fun and made the wait feel totally worth it.
We had a little glitch while shipping (the shipping company lost our sofa!), but Joybird customer support was super helpful and responsive and ended up refunding our shipping which was super awesome.
When the sofa finally arrived, it was perfect. It's sturdy/well-made. It's comfortable. It's stylish. Our doggies LOVE it and so do the house-hold humans.
Overall, a wonderful company to work with and we'll definitely be looking here first for our next furniture purchases."

Then when I ordered a smaller sofa, they were wonderful to work with, provided updates on the progress of the building of the sofa and they got it here more quickly than I anticipated.
