This is the most awesome chair ever!

"I wanted to tell you how much I love my Bryant Chair and a Half! As you can see from the photo, I'm not the only one who feels that way. ;) The upholstery swatches I got in the mail helped to make sure I got the perfect color for my room. The web site is a breeze to use and made the ordering process super easy. I've had so many people ask me where I got this unique awesome chair and I've sent them all to Joybird. Angry Birds

"Guys. I hate to **** on your patios but there’s nada joyous about these birds. Is the furniture, nice? Literally no idea bc it’s been nearly 3 months and I still haven’t seen mine. First of all, read the fine print. If you live on the east coast, the shipping alone takes two weeks +++ bc they send it by train. Second, they give you a one-week window estimate. “Est Feb 6-12,” for example. Then in all print is an asterisk that gives them another two-week window: “*May vary by up to ten business days.” Then they sub out a company to deliver who will only commit to 4-hour windows on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ok, super annoying. But here’s where my experience gets really dicey.

Joybird had already maxed out their first and second windows. I wasn’t meant to receive my order until more than ten business days following the initial estimate. Still I took a half day out of the office to wait for the furniture with only minimal complaining.

Then the delivery service shows up. Guess what? No furniture. No one knows where it is. The delivery service blames Joybird. Joybird isn’t sure if it’s at their dock or the delivery companies.

I’m promised return calls. Don’t get them. I have to stalk them via text. And they provide incomplete info and no explanation. Then I received a message from the delivery company that my stuff has been found. Not Joybird. No apology. No nothing. Just an offer from the same company that wasted my time already to deliver in some four-hour window on Tuesday or Thursday again. Prob is - I can’t be home on a Tuesday or Thursday in the next two weeks. So I call joybird, assuming they’ll recruit another service it something. Nope. Won’t take my calls or call me despite repeated requests for calls. No discount offer or anything else.

I’ve now asked for a refund. 3 months later. I hate them with the fire of 1000 suns. Avoid at all costs. I don’t care how cool their knockoff furniture might be. It’s not worth the headache, wait nor lack of problem solving skills. Joybird is for the birds, y’all.

" Besides the exceptional quality and beauty of the furniture, I’ve been overwhelmed by how kind and inviting the staff has been, especially with my little toddler. It has been a warm, welcoming space to stop. Right now, we are not ready to make major purchases to update our furniture, but when we are ready, hopefully next year, I will definitely be back.

Fantastic service and product!

"I am very happy to report that Joybird is a fantastic company. I recently bought a chair from them, and although it is the wrong size for me (my own mistake, not theirs), I have found their customer service to be absolutely fantastic. I am currently picking out a replacement chair and they have been very helpful and accommodating! I look forward to buying more things from them when I have some more dough!"

Wonderful Company

"I have ordered a few things from Joybird and let me tell you, it was a dream. I got the Justice wall unit, the Stern wood top table and a couple of really cute pillows. The quality of all the items I ordered is outstanding, the customer service was incredible and the shipping and delivery went above and beyond. I can’t say enough nice things about this company. I would recommend them to anyone."

Great Quality

"I have purchased 2 Hughes Sofas, 1 Korver Sleeper Sofa, Fitzgerlad Bench and 2 Eastwood Swivel Chairs. They all look lovely and are very comfortable. Our house is the house the neighbors all want to watch the game at. And guests never complain about the mattress on the sleeper. I have a very large dog and 2 kids who have their friends over all the time. The only issue I have ever had, which I don't think anyone could prevent is slime getting stuck on the kids sofa. Aside from that all the drinks and pet hair come right off and it looks good as new."

Super comfy!

Our Joybird Story

"We ordered an Eastwood Sectional w/Bumper in mid-October with an estimated delivery date of late November. In December, we were told the fabric we ordered is no longer available. Annoying, but these things happen. We were willing to settle for different fabric and were still excited to receive our couch. February comes and we get the call to schedule delivery. We've now been waiting 4 months. On delivery, we discover that half of the legs are missing and there are no screws to attach the legs we did receive. We call to complain and Joybird sends the missing screws a few days later. But we get another surprise when we go to attach the legs: the base on both loveseat and bumper are either missing set screws entirely or have nails through the screws, so there's no way to attach the legs. We're now being told that it will take another month for replacement bases and legs to be sent, plus 7-10 days for a furniture technician to be contracted to do the necessary repairs. So now we're looking at early April before we have our couch, 5 1/2 months after placing our order.

I'm not sure what else Joybird could get wrong at this point, only that I know the nightmare isn't over yet. And that's the problem. Even 5 star companies screw up from time to time, but to screw up so spectacularly and so often indicates that there is something profoundly wrong with the business.
