"I discovered Joybird through my interior designer who selected the Bryce chair in royale peacock for my bedroom reading chair, and it was such a sturdy and well-built chair! When it came time to choose chairs for my living room, I knew I would choose Joybird again. First I ordered the FREE swatch kit so I could feel and see the fabrics in person. Then I discovered there is a Joybird showroom right here in Chicago where I live, so I took an hour at the store to sit on different chairs! Rosielee Brown at the Lincoln Park location was so great with understanding what I was looking for in a chair and giving me different options to sit in and draping different fabrics over the pieces so I could really envision my custom piece. I will be a Joybird buyer for life!"

Delivery Process is Disappointing

"The purchasing process was smooth. I ordered a ready-to-ship product with the expectation that I would receive my delivery within three weeks. I am frustrated and disappointed because I was informed by the shipping company that they received my product yesterday (August 21) however they will not be delivering it until September 18 because they only deliver to my area one day a month and that day was yesterday. I ordered the product on August 14 and it shipped on August 20. It will not be delivered for more than a month. You may want to consider contracting with a different hub in this area. Is it too late for me to cancel this order (J611354)? "

Dissapointing

"This was my second sofa to order from Joybird, Sadly, the quality is not what it was. I’m very disappointed in this purchase. The materials feel very cheap and one leg was unable to be attached because the plywood was so thin. What has happened to your manufacturing process. It seems you’ve been taken over by a hedge fund that is squeezing the product to increase profit. I won’t continue to be a customer or to recommend Joybird anymore."

"Our experience in the DC store with Tay was exceptional. She gave us our space to look around, advised us on price and models, helped evaluate colors and textures and was not pushy in her approach. "We had our eye on the Elliot leather sectional and happen to be visiting Chicago from Houston, so stopped into the showroom to try it out! We were smitten at first sight and really appreciated the help from the joybird staff. Our Elliot sectional is on the way and I will report back on what we think after it arrives "

Poor quality control

"My husband and I spent months picking out a couch. We even drove an hour away to go sit on it and make sure it was comfortable. When we finally received it, it was a different color and texture of leather. Joybird said it could not guarantee if we reorder the couch that it would be right the second time. So disappointing. We ended up buying our second choice (from them) and I hope this leather will be as depicted in the sample and they are picking up our other couch. The whole experience has been frustrating to say the least."

"I was concerned about my delivery date as I was not going to be home around the projected date, the gentleman I spoke with assured me that I would be contacted when my new couch was at the facility that would be handling the delivery and a mutually agreed upon date would be arranged. Phew, chalk up one for Joybird "

Great Experience

"Daniella met with a welcome and nice smile as we walked in the store. Once we mentioned what we were looking for she quickly got us familiar with material options and set up the fabric on the chair of our choice. As well she offered us other options in styles and we eventually chose anothe style which was less expensive and better fit our small space. A checkout process was quick and easy and we get updates as to the build progress."

Nice choices

"I appreciate having different choices. It was nice to choose the style of daybed/bench for my wants and needs. And I also appreciated all the beautiful choices of fabric. I did have the samples of fabric sent to me and I was happy with how lush and beautiful they were in person. It made deciding much easier! I’m looking forward to my piece coming to add to my home!"

Bed broke within 3 months

"Buyer beware! My bed frame broke within 3 months. This was the most expensive bedroom set I ever purchased and the wood was too heavy for the frame and started breaking the metal holding it up. The company told me theres nothing they can do. Do not spend your hard earned money with this company."
