She gave me a tour to find the right couch, provided me swatches to take home, and sent me numbers on the ones I was interested in. Follow up was friendly, and we ended up going back several times to make sure we were making the right choice. Then she helped us place the order which was quick and easy thanks to her. The customer service agent diminished the delay, saying it was only a week when it was not, and then insisted that the company likely had emailed me about the change when they most certainly did not.

I recently purchased a sofa from Joybird with high hopes, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Initially, I wanted a specific color, but I was informed it would take over 10 weeks to receive it. To avoid such a long wait, I chose a different color that was promised to be delivered by the end of June, as it was ready to ship.
However, just two days after making the purchase, I received an email stating that my sofa would now arrive in the first week of August—five weeks later than the promised date. This unexpected delay has been incredibly disappointing, especially since I made my decision based on the store's assurance of a timely delivery.
I have written numerous emails to customer service, hoping to find a resolution or at least an explanation. Unfortunately, their responses have been unhelpful, simply stating that they cannot accelerate the process. This lack of effective communication and inability to uphold their promises has left me deeply unsatisfied with my purchase experience.
I had high expectations for Joybird, but this situation has made me reconsider future purchases. I hope they improve their customer service and delivery accuracy to avoid disappointing more customers in the future."
