"I placed an order for a couch 1 week ago and it has still not been made. The color that I chose was misrepresented online so I called to ask if I could change the color since it hasn’t been made. I was told that they could do that “but it would register as a new order and the process would start over again.” Which means an additional week without a couch even though my order has not been started in the first place. I then asked if I could simply refund my purchase. I was told yes but, for a 20% fee. I asked why I would need to pay $500+ for something that has not been started yet and the only answer I got was “it was policy”. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told “they can get back to you in 2-3 days.” If the couch was in the process of production I would understand. But it is not and all because the color on the website was misrepresented."

"I’ve visited the store and enjoy the initial feel and look of the piece I’ve chosen. However, I do feel as though they should have furniture premade without the chosen color to cut down on the 6-8 week delivery time. I understand they have some quick ship items but it’s very limited. Joybird should consider having a few quick ship pieces for VARIOUS models. For example the wilder!!! They should definitely consider this for their best sellers. If it wasn’t for the 20% restocking fee they charge for cancellation I would be cancelling my order for get something sooner. But in the mean time I’m stuck with no sofa for the next 6 weeks. "
