Great Portland Showroom Team

"Elena P. and team helped us pick out a Joybird Bryant Daybed in Harper Cinnamon over the course of a few visits to the Portland showroom. She was very patient with us while we tried different sofas for comfort, measured for the ability to move it into our old house with narrow doorways, and deliberated over which fabric would match our aesthetic while hiding dog fur and slobber. The whole staff was even welcoming of our dogs visiting so that we could see if the daybed was comfortable enough to seat two adults and two dogs. We are so excited to receive our new daybed, a sofa format hard to find for the price anywhere else!

My only bit of constructive feedback is that we got some conflicting information about fabric care (e.g., water usage, steam cleaning, solvents, etc.) between the website, email support, and in-store staff. In the end we decided we will likely choose to take the Harper Cinnamon cushion covers to an eco dry cleaner for a good solvent clean as needed or once a year or so.

Terrible Delivery Timeline

"I can’t give a rating on the product because we still have not received it. It still shows it is in the first phase and we ordered 12/2/23. It’s not expected for delivery until the end of February now but who knows for sure. "

Loved it from beginning to end!

"I had seen Joybird on instagram and their ads really caught my attention. I was so surprised when I saw they had a showroom in DC! My husband and I went and were treated so kindly by Ruth. We hadn't made up our minds and left but I was so happy with her follow up. She checked in on us, let us know of some holiday discounts. Overall we felt very supported. We can't wait for out couch! DON'T DO IT

"Don't waste your money on a product that is going to take literally months to get. My delivery date has been pushed back 3 times now. I get no communication that it was pushed back or why. I've been paying for a couch for 2 months now that I ordered in Nov and now won't get until MARCH??!?!?!

I have now reschedule for a THIRD TIME the removal of our old couch. This is so inconsistent. The cancelation fee is insane.

Overall great

"Website was easy to use and love the product pics etc but the expected date of delivery on the order page was different from the confirmation email when I placed my order. I ordered the sofa based on the delivery timeframe they had listed but now I won’t have the sofa when I was hoping for and not sure I would have purchased it given it’s going to be a month later than I needed. "

lovely furniture. infuriating ordering practices

"Unnecessary and unwanted white glove delivery is forced on you on the "Delivery" page after the one showing your total amount due. On the Delivery page you have to hit "submit" not knowing what the revised total is. After you hit "submit" if you change your mind on the order you are hit with to a 20% cancellation fee even if, as I did, you cancel within 24 hours.

I learned these policies the hard way, and too late, so now I'm going to take delivery of a piece of furniture I like, but now am rather bitter about.

I won't be shopping Joybird again.

Patient kind, sweet

"I worked with jacy at the Seattle store and she was thoughtful, understanding and patient. I had gone in with every intention of buying a couch in store that day, but when it got to the payment option, I realized that as a result of my divorce, I didn’t have the right things and she was so understanding and help me understand how I can do it at home and I ended up not getting the sleeper version of the couch we looked at, but I’m still so excited for my new couch because it’s the only thing I’m excited about right now "
