Very good in-store shopping experience

"I visited the Philadelphia showroom/store after doing some initial exploration on their website. The staff was very knowledgeable, attentive and helpful.
Though the specific armchair I was interested in was not on display, a sofa of the same type was, which allowed me to assess seating comfort and back support.

Excellent service by Kayla :)

"Kayla was an amazing representative at Joybird! She contacted us and reached out to us to make sure we had everything we needed before our order and in the process of our order. She even recommended cleaners for the Holt Sectional. I am ecstatic and cannot wait to receive this couch. Because of her, we left confident in our choice and fabric and would 1000% shop here again. If it wasn’t for her stellar service I don’t think we would have chosen Joybird. :) "

Good customer service, chaotic order process, double charge, incorrect order

"I worked with David for the majority of my experience at the sf store. He was patient, helpful, checked in while not pressuring the decisions. He was great and I would be happy to work with him again. Another associate (did not get the associate’s name, Asian decent with blonde hair) took over the check out process and placed an incorrect order, when I went through the payment process, the card reader said approved, but he said it didn’t go through so he handed me to another associate, Haven, and she reprocessed the order. She processed the order and I payed again. Upon reviewing my emailed receipts and bank account, two orders were placed and I was charged twice. One for a couch I never even saw or spoke to the sales person about! I then had to go through the process of calling and altering the mistake. I would have felt more comfortable not being passed around to different associates for such a large purchase. I feel if David would have proceeded with processing the order, it would have been less chaotic, I wouldn’t have felt like I was being pushed from one person to the next, the miscommunication would have been avoided, and it would have felt more reliable while spending so much money. Also, allowing the customer to see their purchase summary on a screen before proceeding with payment should be a staple of every transaction and it was not available for me to review before payment. This experience makes me feel insecure about my purchase and hesitant about what product will arrive. Continuity, trust, and reliability through all aspects of a sale is extremely important and I feel the overall experience was lacking. Again, David was excellent, but the overall great customer service experience was diminished and became frustrating. "

great showroom experience but apprehensive about shipping timeline...

"We had a great showroom experience in San Francisco and were happy to see the images found online look identical in person. However, I was disappointed that the shipping timeline changed to now be delivered the day after Christmas (vs Dec 21-Dec 25 as promised in the showroom).

This slight change in delivery dates will make it much harder/more stressful given we have family coming into town for the week this year. Is there any way to recommit to the Dec 21 possibility?

Was given misinformation twice!

"I was given made up information not once but twice about shipping, delivery and the cost. They charged $129 for a box to be left on my front porch!
All joybird did was give a refund of less than $30, which was less than the cost of tax!

Portland Joybird store is the BEST!

"I have been wanting to see your products in person for a couple of months and was planning on driving to Seattle, but thankfully the Portland store opened on 11/17/23! The product is top notch (backed by Lazy Boy) and the Joybird personnel is WONDERFUL to work with....they are helpful, and so far the follow-up has been excellent - Tre was excellent! I purchased a couch, a bed frame and a couple of ottoman's......and I will be purchasing more! Cindy, the store manager, was on site and helped us through the process as well :)
