"I had such a great experience buying a Joybird sofa a few years ago that I decided to buy a loveseat from them this year. I ordered an updated swatch kit and loved the options that are now available so I got two pillows in addition to the loveseat. Unfortunately the coupon code I was given as a thank you for ordering the swatch kit didn’t work, so I contacted customer service and got a better coupon as well as an offer to get an additional discount on pillows! A little while after placing my order with the customer service representative’s help, I wanted to make a small change to my pillow order so I contacted customer service again and they made it fast and easy to update."

"I haven't received my couch yet, but I have not been impressed with Joybird customer service. I placed an order for an Eliot Reversible Sectional during their Labor Day sale that I ended up having to place over the phone because of website issues. The woman I worked with was helpful, but she double charged for my order. It took me 2 business days to finally get in touch with someone to get this straightened out. While I was placing my order, I was told that I could delay my delivery until November (I placed my order in early October), but then that wasn't an option. Instead I had to schedule my delivery for the day I was picking up keys to my apartment. Well, the delivery showed up before I was able to get the keys so they couldn't deliver it. The delivery team from Lay-Z-Boy was very communicative, which I very much appreciated, and said Joybird would reach out to reschedule, but they didn't. So I called again, and after finally getting through to someone I was told there was an extra $20 charge because my apartment is on the 3rd floor. I've already paid $130 for shipping and "white glove" delivery. I asked for the fee to be waived considering the issues I've been having, and I was informed that because I was receiving my couch at a discount that this wouldn't be possible. But apparently purchasing a sale item doesn't include good customer service either. I was so excited about this couch, but this has just soured the whole experience. This will definitely be my last Joybird purchase."

"Couch DELAYED 6 weeks (so that’s on top of the 6 weeks they quoted us). When we unboxed the lamp we purchased the wiring was split due to the way the company packaged it. They won’t replace or refund even though I offered to pay for shipping. "

"We were interested in a sofa from here however we had some concerns. The photography made the sofas legs look too tall and out of proportion and uncomfortable. We weren’t even going to look at it but we’re in the area and we did. We fell in love with the style and comfort and it’s proportions. "I bought a couch using the "decide later" option on the color and requested a swatch kit. Come to find out Joybird takes 3 weeks just to send the swatch kit, in addition to the 8-10+ weeks to build and deliver the couch. There is no reason why it should take 3 weeks to send out swatches after I paid for a couch in full. So I will be out thousands of dollars for weeks before even getting to finalize my order. Swatches should be sent out immediately to paying customers. "
