No Customer Service

"I can’t get anyone from Customer
Service to respond to my emails or phone calls. I’m trying to return two pillows within their two week return policy and they don’t provide any shipping guidance online. The pillows themselves are lovely, but just don’t quite “fit” with my color scheme. I’m super frustrated and feel like I’m getting the run around so they can wait out my two week return window. (I’m recording my efforts and will call in the credit card company, but it just seems so unnecessary in these days of online shopping.)

Now that they have our money, they ignore all emails!!!!!

"What is going on with this company? I get NO response from customer service via email and according to the site's recent reviews I shouldn't hold my breath! It is impossible to get anyone on the phone and after 1.5 hrs of being on hold I gave up. When do they give a response to anyone? I have 2 broken chairs that I spent good money on, but no one at Joy bird will even return my emails. I filled out their warranty form weeks ago and have not heard anything back from anyone! I feel as if I just lost $800.00 Jyl Klein"

DO NOT BUY!!

"Do not let the pretty pictures on Instagram fool you. This company takes your money, and in return has the poorest customer service I’ve ever encountered and you might be lucky to ever received your furniture. Purchased 6 dining chairs on March 28th 2021 and haven’t received them all yet (it’s 9/2021). When I initially received the order months later, 3 of the 6 chairs were damaged and had to be returned/reordered. Waited months more and it was finally time to received the 3 remaining chairs. We only received ONE of the 3, and guess what, it was damaged. The other two were lost at a delivery hub and still waiting to be found. Your lucky to get a response from customer service via email in 5 days the least, and don’t hold your breath getting anyone on the phone. After 1.5 hrs or being on hold I gave up. When you do get a response out of anyone, they don’t know half of what going on. This isn’t resolved yet, hopefully I get the rest of my chairs before the new year but I won’t get my hopes up."

Impossible to get a hold of customer service for a return

"I bought a Joybird couch a few weeks ago and changed my mind and decided to return it. Unfortunately customer service does not respond to email and is impossible to reach by phone too (more than 2 hours of waiting time and then they hang up on you).

This is the worst customer experience I've had in a very long time.

"Just spent two hours on the phone to be hung up on before a customer service rep even answered. Takes 3+ days for them to respond to an email. I still have not received my order and last I heard they don't even know if its even been built."

Still don’t have a table

"I’ve ordered several pieces over the years and been very happy but this is not the same company…my table has been missing for over a month with several delivery days set up and no items delivered. At this point not sure when a table will come or if it’ll have the right pieces based on other reviews. "

Poor quality and worse customer service

"-April 20 - Placed order for an Anton U-bumper sectional (3 pieces)
-May 28 (post-delivery day 0) - "White glove" furniture delivery. Delivery team indicated that one of the connector brackets is missing and we'd be contacted shortly to schedule someone to come install it.
-June 5 (post-delivery day 8) - Emailed to ask about bracket
-June 7 (post-delivery day 10) - Email response indicating an order for the replacement part was made
-June 15 (post-delivery day 18) - Emailed again asking about bracket
-June 18 (post-delivery day 21) - Email response indicating the replacement bracket would go out by June 19
-June 30 (post-delivery day 33) - Parts never came. I called many times and could never get through. Finally, I left a VM for a return call.
-June 30 (post-delivery day 33) - Brackets finally arrived later that day, but without installation instructions. I tried to install them, but I was unsuccessful since I couldn't get the screws to catch the receiving part inside the sectional.
-July 1 (post-delivery day 34) - I received a return phone call. I was told that someone from the warranty claims department would contact me to set up a "furniture medic" to install the bracket pieces.
-July 27 (post-delivery day 60) - Furniture repairman came. He said that the provided screws were not long enough. He also corrected the other side, which he said was installed incorrectly. In the end, the sectional is finally complete 60 days after delivery.

As you can imagine, this experience was unfortunate and extremely frustrating. Not only did I waste immeasurable time calling and emailing, but I was aggravated and confused the entire time. Also, for two months, I had a broken piece of furniture that cost me $5000. I had seen many poor reviews on Joybird prior to purchase. I should have heeded their warnings...

Pet-Friendly Fabric not pet friendly

"We spent extra on "pet-friendly" fabric, the first time our dog jumped onto the couch it left large scratch marks on the fabric. Contacted customer service to find out there is nothing they will do, and that, though the fabric is pet-friendly, it is not pet proof. We are trying to return it. "

Never Buying Again

"Highly dissatisfied in Joybird which is super disappointing considering the amount of money I spent.
Ordered a sectional that was listed as "in our warehouse - ready to ship." First delivery was scheduled, but I only received half the sectional and the delivery company said "oh, no one called you?" Attempted to call Joybird SEVERAL times and sent countless emails, no response. Finally connected with someone after I called the scheduling department and refused to hang up until I spoke with someone. Another delivery date was scheduled, and on the scheduled day, the delivery company told me it was canceled again and didn't know why. So here I am with half a sectional. Called several times again, no answer, no response to emails. Customer service is non-existent. Finally spoke to someone who said the other half of my sectional was lost and I would need to call someone else to reorder it. NO! After complaining to BBB and Affirm (similar to Afterpay), my sectional was reordered and I had to wait another 4-6 weeks for delivery. Super unhappy with everything but it's not even worth it to get the run around AGAIN, so I'll just take what I got. Joybird said they would contact me after delivery to discuss a "gift" but there has been ZERO communication. Of course.

Crap

"I don't understand how one company can be so bad at what they do. Do not waste your time or money on this company. Your shipment will be late even though they already estimate it will take 4 months, customer service does not answer calls it all goes to voicemail, the fabric quality is ok at best, and they will milk you for all they can. The absolute worst. "

Cheaply built furniture

"Have had a terrible experience so far with Joybird.

To start, their build and delivery estimates were completely off. Our furniture was delayed by months and Joybird was not communicative with us about the delays even when we reached out to ask for updates.

After the furniture finally arrived, we have had multiple failures from 2 of the 3 pieces we have ordered and it has not even been a full year owning them. The wood and build quality of Joybird furniture is clearly cheap.

Even further, when the furniture breaks the support team is not quick to reply via email and via phone they just ask you to leave a message rather than placing you in touch with a support team member to talk with. After you eventually get through the support steps via email, you have to go through the same delayed build and ship process to get the replacement pieces delivered which means you are without furniture for months.

Terrible product and service

"I received this couch beginning of February and it has been nightmare since. I got the Bryant L-Sectional (4 piece). It had a lot of loose threads upon arrival that I had to cut. I expected some because it was a new product, but not as much as it had. Joybird said quality control clips the loose threads... they did a terrible job. Perhaps they are blind?

The cushions are not filled evenly and it is noticeable. I requested this be fixed. They tried really hard not to help with this issue and I had to persist with picture of measuring tape showing the significant difference in size. They sent a technician after and it didn't resolve the issue. The tech basically tried to pull apart the filling and make it appear like it was full but really it doesn't help when you sit on the couch. You can feel the significant difference of sitting on one seat to the next. This is a couch not even worth $1000 if the seat is uncomfortable because they can't evenly fill the seat cushions.

And here is the worst part of this product... the feet of the couch have permanently stained my brand new floor in my brand new build. The feet have left these round pink/red stains that seem to be chemicals coming off the feet. It left several of them since I have the 4 piece L shape. I am LIVID. My previous $400 couch lasted years and was a better quality product and it absolutely did not ruin my floors with the feet. Customer service had the audacity to send me an email blaming the delivery company for the damage to my floor. And when I called them out they said "oopsie, here is a link to our warranty request form." And now I am waiting to see how they plan to resolve this issue.

Also, customer service is lazy. I use to work for an ecommerce company in customer service and I at least filled out the warranty pages for my customers once I received their complaint and reviewed it and made sure it went to the correct place to help resolve the issue. Here they send me JB Hunt's email and try to blame their product issue on someone else. And then when I call them out they send me a link to re-write and fill out what I already sent them. If your company already has the information then you can provide it to the correct person to review it at your company.

Also, Joybrid sends an email offering $25 for your review. They also offer $25 for pictures. I wrote a review and they disabled my review or my capabilities to view the reviews in my account. They also did not honor in providing the $25. Shady and unprofessional company.

So the thousands you pay this company doesn't give you a good quality product or even good service. Go somewhere else!
