Pleased with the quick help

"Our rental dishwasher was having a problem. It wouldn't start but all the lights were on (nobody home!!!) and we couldn't figure out what to do other than check all the connections. Most reliable source to hone you peace of mind when your pet is unwell at an inconvenient time.

"I was so relieved at a time my Great Pyrenees dog went ill one evening over the weekend. Home alone during a thunderstorms my sweet dog began to throw up and became lethargic. I was extremely upset over his distress and wondered who could help. I searched online and came upon this godsend called justanswer.com. I’d remembered using them another time for another sick pet and had forgotten. I immediately recalled how they’d helped the last time. I asked to consult with a qualified veterinarian. Immediately after completing a concise description of what had happened, within half an hour or so, I received a detailed assessment of the ailment of my dog and amazingly a thorough plan explaining what to do at that time to help me give detailed steps to treat him at that immediate time. I was blown away at such professional treatment suggestions at a time when I needed it most. I followed their steps which were both seriously healthful and relief bringing to my loving dog and myself. I am forever grateful to justanswer.com. They are an invaluable resource available to all.

Very knowledgeable

"My A/C quit on a 88 Friday afternoon. I tried a few things, and couldn't come to a solution. Finally at 7pm that night, a JustAnswer tech, Gary, helped me quickly and we found that my capacitor had failed. Found one at a local electrical store the next day, and had the house back to normal temp by 1030 am the next day. Would not have known what to check next, and probably would have had a $200+ weekend service bill had I not been able to locate the problem. Thanks JustAnswer."

The experts and the site show a high degree of integrity

"This review will probably be a bit strange, but I think it's important for people considering using the site to feel confident that they will be treated honestly. My particular issue was very specialized (circa 1996 keyboard issue), and there weren't any experts familiar with my hardware. However, I was impressed that the expert assigned to me, after getting background on the problem, stated that he wasn't familiar enough with the hardware to help out. Why is this important? I was not strung along and was quickly able to make other arrangements with a local service provider.

Next is the ease of canceling my subscription. On the "my account" page the link to unsubscribe was clearly marked, and there were no hoops at all to unsubscribe. There are online news organization subscriptions much more difficult to unsubscribe from as compared with JustAnswer.com. So rather ironically, I can highly recommend this site based on my experience when the consulting didn't work out for me.

My "answer" was answered, however they should of also told what small other step needed to be completed.

"Note to self. You must have requested hearing after filing a motion in order for the motion to be seen. Maybe that's common sense to attorneys but people need to know things. I clearly pointed out I was pro se. The correct motion was filed yes which was the question however they should have told me to file a hearing. Duh... I guess"

Be warned!

"Contacted JustAnswers July 11, 7:14 p.m. & asked a vet question. Price: trial week $5, thereafter $42 monthly. I would be charged $42 on July 18 if I didn't cancel before. I posted my question & waited for vet to respond. Waited 3 hours, nothing. I went to my paypal account & decided to cancel the recurring charge of $42 monthly since I only had one question for the vet. Received email from JustAnswers saying, "Your membership has been canceled as of today. You will no longer be billed on a monthly basis." Good. Today I contacted them since no reply yet to my $5 question. Was told by customer service that since my membership was cancelled, it cancelled my trial week too. She said, "You pay for a trial membership when you post a question but when you canceled the payment on your PayPal basically you have also canceled your trial service." When I asked if I was going to get a refund on my $5, she ghosted me!!! It's only $5, but it's the principle of the thing! THIS SITE IS AS RIP-OFF, BE WARNED!!!"

"Didn't know my $5 question would get me billed $46 every month forever. The company acted very perplexed that I wanted to cancel. Keep me waiting indefinitely. Don't fall for it. Not worh it. "

Great service

"However, they make it seem like you only pay 5 for the dr review then suddenly you “ paid a free trail” and they charging you 46 dollars. After the dr told me to ignore all that. Never shopping again. Terrible service , and I think the girl that called me was the same lady who was the “ manager “ "

Nursing kittens

"I adopted 2 kittens when they were 8 weeks old, not knowing that they were still a little young to be removed from their mother (if the foster family even had the mother cat). They have been trying to nurse on me, my clothing, my blankets, etc. I understand they are little so I don't want to always be shoving them away, but the suckling is driving me crazy! The vet had a great suggestion to add a supplement that contains the protein found in the mother's milk so I have sent for it. Hopefully this will give them the closure they need!"
