"Yesterday I received the second computer I have purchased from KC Computers in two years. I went back to Kevin for the same reasons that many customers cite for doing business with Kevin: well-built products, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service. While Kevin's crew made a minor mistake with my latest order (a missing component), the experience validates my reasoning for going back to Kevin, even though I probably could have acquired a similar system for slightly less money elsewhere. Upon hearing that a component was missing, Kevin immediately offered to send it by UPS two-day delivery to the West Coast, despite the fact that it was in no way an urgent requirement. Kevin's response confirmed my confidence that if anything went wrong, as it sometimes will no matter who one buys from, he would rectify the problem or resolve the issue more quickly and with less hassle than I would expect from any other organization, large or small.

I should also mention that Kevin has an amazing reservoir of patience with the endless questions posed by an infrequent purchaser like me who agonizes over every component that will go into his or her system. His responses are always helpful and sometimes he suggests changes the customer may not have thought of.

Kevin, of Kc-computers loaded the system OS, tested all components and removed the OS since I did not purchase any software. "I bought an athlon system with Windows XP. It is
working great. I was able to pick out Linux compatible hardware and get it all working with Linux. KC was fast and easy to work with and the
responses I got from the company was accurate and
helpful. Because I was installing linux I asked
them to install XP on a partition that did not
span the whole disk to leave room for linux
partitions. The happily complied.
Prices are fairly low; not the lowest but
worth paying a little more for. One improvement might be to get some configuration software running on their site to speed up the process of picking out hardware. Overall very happy."
