"Yes, buying a new mattress is one of those periodic milestones that, hopefully, only happens every 15 or so years. My wife and I decided to read as much as we could, talk to friends regarding their mattress experiences, and avoid brick and mortar shopping. The two research groups that seemed the most helpful were "Sleeplikethedead" and "sleepopolis". In particular, we like comparisons of products against a common set of criteria. We also wanted a green product. The selection of Loom and Leaf was not hard from the data and our criteria as sleepers and with back issues. So, at this point, we have bought the king size bed, foundation, and removal of old bed. Today, I received a call from a very affable and knowledgeable Loom and Leaf employee to confirm our purchase and waited as I measured the height of the bed to ensure that we had made the right choice of foundation. And now ... we wait to experience the actual product. So far, excellent customer service. Stay tuned."

"I choose loom and leaf Memory Foam double mattress firm for its overall explanations, quality, price and return policies. All other competitor mattresses were either too soft and sinking foam in middle or too hard coils all over. I await to see if any better and for the expected delivery in 7-15 days as confirmed. My only negative so far is poor web/rep explanation of the the U.S. dollar exchange of aprx $300 for delivery to Canada from their Ontario stockroom. Hope for the best. Arrived, a quality made product all around, but very firm - almost too hard for body. Takes several weeks apparently to break in mattress material. Not sure if can handle that length of time. Otherwise likely return maybe exchange but softer relaxed firm likely too soft. Being prepared. "
"I think the purchasing experience has been ok. Ordering was easy. Following that was a fairly useless phone call from a sales rep reading my email confirmation back to me. I think my biggest gripe is that it takes a long time for the delivery company to contact you. For those of us who have busy lives and like to plan ahead, giving any type of indication other than "9-18 days" would be very helpful."
