"I am not a regular online shopper therefore, I was extremely nervous about making such a large purchase online. I spent some time on the chat line asking quite a few questions then printed out the conversation. After approximately three months of research and comparison shopping I finally decided to take the plunge and order a L&L mattress. I was so nervous that I placed my order by phone where I could speak with a live person. The attendant was very helpful in ensuring that I was well informed about the product, delivery and warranties. He was very patient and I did not feel rushed. My new mattress was delivered within 2-1/2 weeks from order date; the delivery persons set up the mattress "as promised" and removed my old mattress "as promised". I can say the experience was fantastic from beginning to end, they fulfilled all my expectations and I would definitely recommend Saatva to anyone who is looking for a new mattress. "I researched both Saatva inner spring mattresses and Loom & Leaf memory foam — based on recommendation from our in-laws, who recently got a Saatva mattress and really like it. Both websites are easy to use and instant chat offer is helpful. However, when I described our sleep needs, back pain and other issues, and asked rep several times/several ways for a suggestion re: which firmness to choose, it became evident after several unresponsive, “dodge the question” answers that he probably isn’t permitted to actually recommend one firmness over another. If that’s the company policy, I understand, but you should let your reps just say that. It would have helped me avoid a time-wasting cat-and-mouse series of questions that really weren’t answered. One other positive comment: Since I placed my order Friday, I’ve received 3 confirmation/follow-up emails, the most recent one with current progress status. That level of customer service is helpful and too uncommon among many merchants. Looking forward to receiving our new mattress and foundation. Thanks."

"Got a note that my mattress was complete two weeks ago, but still no one has been able to tell me when it will be delivered despite multiple follow ups from me. The confirmation email said to expect them to contact me in 3 - 5 days, but we are going on 15 days and the contact has all been initiated by me. Tomorrow is the last day of their stated delivery window. My optimism is why I’m giving them 3 stars. They have been very polite. If it doesn’t arrive before my Thanksgiving company then it’ll definitely drop the rating."
