I finally decided a 30-60 second "try-out" in a mattress store wouldn't tell me much, so I opted for a very highly rated mattress with a 120 day return policy and a strong reputation for customer service. While ordering on-line I had a question so I called the help number. April was very helpful and pleasant. After she answered my question about on-line ordering she offered to place the order herself over the phone. Very simple. The mattress and foundations were delivered this morning and the old mattress and box springs taken away, just six business days after I placed my order. I haven't slept on it yet but am very much looking forward to doing so tonight. I hope (trust) the sleeping experience will be as pleasant as the rest. However, I'm not worried for two main reasons: 1) SAATVA's high scores for quality, comfort, and customer service, and 2) I have the option of returning it if, for some strange reason, it doesn't work out."
"A year ago we got a Saatva coil mattress for your king bed. The whole experience was great and I returned the luxury firm for the plush. Luxury firm was just to hard for me, my husband could sleep on a rock! We recently purchased a new bedroom set and no longer needed the box spring or frame so we moved them to the guest room. We then needed a mattress. We ordered the loom & leaf all foam mattress after reading all the good reviews. Online is so easy--had a terrible time dragging my husband to mattress stores where they attack as soon as you walk in the door-----my husband would run away and I was sacrificed!
We also looked at the mattresses in a box, but ruled them out as stinky (reviews talked about the off gas) and they come in a box!

"I read about the product online and it seemed to be just what I was looking for. I have been having bad back issues and wanted a firm mattress and I like memory foam but the tempurpedics were way to soft and had too much give.
From what I read, this should be much better and the fact it is environmentally friendly and has natural flame retardants is a big bonus. I'm really looking forward to trying this mattress out and will post a review or update this when I have received it."
