"Modchipman is awesome!!! Ordered a X3CP on Wednesday morning, shipped the same day and had it in my hands by Friday morning, more than 4 states away with ground shipping too!!! Very impressed with the quick processing and quick shipping of the order. Had ordered stuff from another vender previously who had very good reviews too but Modchipman blew them out of the water. Will be ordering all of my future orders with them! They also have great prices, price for my order shipped was cheaper than other sites have the product listed alone. "They were very quick to replace a defective product. However, When the replacement arrived, it arrived in a simple padded envelope instead of the complete retail packaging that the original was returned in. This is important with this product as it serves as a protective case to store the hardware in when not in use.
Now you insult my intelligence by telling lies. The packaging I used to return my kit was a padded envelope inside of a padded Fedex box. The original reason your "customer service" person gave for not having the box was that YOUR shipment from the manufacturer had been received damaged. She never once said that mine had been returned in this condition. This was not stated until you read my review. Defending your poor customer support and business practices by telling lies is even worse. I had not even posted a review yet because I was waiting to see how you handled this. When I got your response on the tech support page refusing to send me the box is when I posted my review reflecting my unsatisfactory experience. I guess now I can go ahead and post my review on the other site as well. Also, when I expressed a genuine problem with the hardware, your tech responded with a simple "sounds like an operating system problem". No attempt at all to help. That's ok. I will look elsewhere to order the new flash cart kit I want and somewhere else to get my consoles modded. I am still hoping for a pleasant resolution to this whole thing, and will edit this review accordingly."

"WOW!!! I started out ordering frim Divineo.com, they started playing games, so I canceled my order. I then turned around and ordered the same equipment from Modchipman.com. The ICE chip was a little more, BUT, standard shipping was $8 vs Divineo's $25 (WOW). I upped to 3 day shipping and STILL saved money. I ordered on saturday, First thing monday morning I got a confermation E-mail and that afternoon I had a tracking number.
These people care about their customers, and they wont scalp you on shipping. "
"Order number 19645. Im very angry right now because I don't have my PS2. I sent my PS2 to modchipman and had them mod it for me. Well I got my system back and it only worked for a day until I started getting disc read errors. I logged a ticket on their site telling them what happened and the tech told me to send it back with my order number so they could fix it for me. Well I sent it back in November and it's now Feb. I know it got to them because I tracked it and it arrived at their doorstep. I logged 2 tickets already... 1 on a thursday and 1 on Friday and they haven't been answered. If I can remember correctly they don't have weekend support. I ordered a Smart Joy adapter from them during the time I'v been waiting for my PS2 and I got that in 2 days. Their shipping is good. Anyways I would like to get an answer from modchipman.com about what's going on. My wife won't let me buy a pre-modded Xbox until I get my PS2 back, and I want to get the Xbox before DOOM 3 comes out on it.
*EDIT* Well I went on their live support and got some help. They told me they still have my system and that my laser was dead, they couldn't find any lasers fast enough so they had to order it from HK (don't know what that is) and they will have some in by Tuesday. I feel much better now that I talked to someone from modchipman. I'll give an update in about a week or two."

"First let me say that I have ordered from this company in the past and have had 0 problems until now, but after this one incident I will probably never order from them again.
I placed an order for an item that specifically stated in the description "IN STOCK AND SHIPS WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY OF ORDERING" and I ordered it with the full expectation of it being in stock and shipping when promised. After 1 day my order status was changed to Preorder. The web site still even as of the writing of this comment still shows the same info in the description. I emailed the company and they told me not only was it NOT in stock but it they could not give me an ETA on when it would ship. I asked them to cancel my order and refund my payment. They said they did cancel my order and would refund my payment. I find the act of saying something is in stock when you clearly can't deliver on that one of the most despicable things a webshop can do. They were fast in responding to queries and fast to cancel my order so at least on that level they seem reputable."
