Customer Service

"I purchased a PSU, and it turned out, my computer had just finally died. So I obviously didn't need a PSU anymore. Unfortunately the 3rd party seller wasn't very reconceive to my refund & didn't even want to refund my shipping. However my customer service rep, (Stark), was awesome! He himself had to do all the foot work and made sure that the 3rd party refunded me & even got his own company, (Newegg), to reimburse my shipping. All I had to do was attach a pic I took of my receipt and email it to them. Stark sent me updates via email every step of the way & made sure every time I called customer service that I was able to deal with him on every occasion. He was extremely polite and apologetic, even though it was the 3rd party's fault not his or Newegg. Even though I had to return my item, I will definitely use Newegg again in the future and wanted to give a shout out and let Newegg know that Stark, went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of!!!

WOW Thank you Eva!

"I was trying to build the best system I could on a limited budget for my son. He is going away to school and worked hard to earn money all summer long. Even with his mother and I matching what he saved he was on a tight budget.

I called customer service after having a frustrating time being repeatedly logged out of my account, loosing track of promos and offers ending or selling out. It was a challenge to say the least.

I was connected with Eva, wow was she helpful! Quickly she resolved my ordering and promo problem within minutes. To have Eva come in and help me get through a few hiccups and get the right parts keeping my son and I on budget was incredibly timely, what a life saver!
We were very fortunate to have had her helping us. The biggest reward: after all my sons hard work was to have a good person like Eva prove to him his hard work pays off! How can you measure that? That alone is priceless.

RMA/Returns could be better

"Customer Service from Newegg is really great. Friendly staff, polite, always a pleasure to speak with. The website is also really good, and they have the best prices anywhere online.

Their customer service chat is pretty terrible. Long wait times and since it opens in the current window it often crashes. This is pretty frustrating, seeing as how you might be 100th in line, only to get down to 28 and have to start the entire process over again. If you plan to use the chat it basically requires that you don't open any new tabs for Newegg or risk erroring out the chat window.

I recently ordered a video card. When I received it, it was DOA. No problem. Not their fault. It happens. Well, I RMA the card and it just so happened that I got the last one of this particular Model #. Newegg still have the exact same card, exact same specs, so I'm not worried. Well, they cant replace the card with the different model number even though it's the exact same thing - the last digit of the model number. More or less a different batch of cards, cant replace the last one. So it took 2 days for my "replace" status to change to "refund". Then I had to wait 3 business days for the refund to process, and another 5 days for the return to hit my account. In this time all of the card that I originally ordered sold out. I also lost 21$ and some change for my overnight shipping fees. Very frustrating considering they were going to replace the card and Overnight it back to me for free. So after 2 weeks I am finally able to order the new video card. I called the customer support to see if they would waive the shipping fee. Thankfully they did. I still lost 2$ for shipping and another 6$ for rush processing. Completely negated half of the money that I would have saved from buying from another site.

I have spent tens of thousands of dollars through Newegg, and that was the first bad product I have ever received. Hopefully I will never have to go through that process again.

I will say that they could improve on their replacement policy if they run out of stock on the item you ordered and try to be more accommodating if you receive something DOA. Instead they make you wait forever.

Ordered Wrong Cables, Turned Out All Right

"I ordered new Corsair cables from Newegg for my CS550M power supply without realizing that they were not compatible with it. Although I could not cancel the order, (tracking number already issued) Elena issued an RMA number so I can ship the cables back and get a full refund. Great customer service! Also, she made an egg pun, so I must also. Pleasant EGGSperience!"

"I had an issue that lasted two weeks. I ordered the computer over and over again and Newegg kept voiding it I called 5 times and to 4 different people and nothing worked until I spoke with Eva. Best place to buy computer hardware

"I started shopping on NewEgg back in 2006. Built a few computers since then. Not only does NewEgg have everything, but the prices & sales are great, better than the competition. The one thing though that I think makes NewEgg stand out the most is the superior customer service.
You can tell NewEgg goes the extra mile to make shoppers happy. You also get really good benefits with their Premiere Membership, and they have a store card for financing, which came in handy when I bought my HTC Vive. I look forward to shopping at NewEgg for many more years.

Stellar Customer Service!

"I was looking for a specific device but wasn't sure it was compatible with my laptop so I called Newegg and the Rep that I spoke with was extremely helpful. He pulled up my item that I was looking at and my laptop and told me that the device I was going to choose was not the right one and then he did some researching on his own and found the correct device for my laptop on Newegg and explained the warranty/return process if in any case it wasn't compatible which was so simple. I received the item 3 days later and it works perfect out of the box. I called them back today just to thank them for their kindness, help and support and they were very appreciative. This is the second item I have purchased from Newegg and that one works flawlessly as well. Plus their prices IMO are unbeatable. To buy the replacement item from the manufacturer would have cost slightly over $100.00 but through Newegg it only cost me $50.00! I would recommend purchasing from Newegg to anyone. Their products are suburb and their customer server is amazing going out of their way to help you with whatever you may need. Thanks Newegg !"

Newegg RMA Experience

"I ordered a Ryzen 5 2600x, it came dead on arrival so i decided to rma it as i thought maybe it wouldnt be hard but when i was expecting to get a new cpu i instead got a email saying i scratched off the serial number. I didnt even know where the serial number was until after i got that email so i wasnt sure how i could have even scratched it off, I called them and they said that it doesnt match their serial number in their data base and since i had no proof the Cpu i sent was ordered from them since there is no serial number on any receipts online they basically said im out of luck and there is nothing they can do about it. Now i am stuck with a Dead cpu and out 200 or so dollars"
