"I've purchased stuff from newegg for many moons. I run into more and more problems with their rebates. Their fulfillment centers take the maximum to send IF they send them. They also just go out of business, and Newegg takes it upon themselves to give themselves 2 additional months to send out rebates, unless you want a newegg gift card, which they magically can process immediately.
If the price you like includes a rebate, look elsewhere if you think you'll ever actually get it.
EDIT - Update 6-21-2018 I was contacted by newegg immediately after writing this review, by an employee A.S. (initials) to help me get my rebate processed right then! Wow. Okay, it **** I had to write a review to get help. However, 8 days have now passed, and A.S. has not responded again after I sent him the info needed, and my rebate is no where to be found, in an unprocessed of the second queue.
What a joke. Don't respond to complaints if you don't plan on helping. "
"The young lady who helped me (Jackie M.) was very patient and, when she did not know the answer to one of my many questions, asked if she could put me on hold and went to find the answer. She processed my order while I was on the phone, it was shipped promptly (same day) and arrived exactly on schedule. The cost was surprisingly low. I did shop others -- and the main competitor of NewEgg was $20 more without the free shipping NewEgg offered.
New Egg is now my go-to first stop.

"I have had lots of trouble trying to get G.skill memory to work with my MSI P55 GD65 motherboard. I have used G.skill memory with other motherboards and had no problems.
Newegg has been very helpful in working with me to try to get the correct G.skill memory for this particular MSI motherboard but it seems that it is just not compatible. I wish tech support at MSI had been as helpful.
Natasha was very pleasant and helpful in setting up a return as have been all of the representatives I have dealt with at Newegg. I have used Newegg for a number of years and will continue to do so."

Contact Newegg costumer service by text with cell phone, after 2 days waiting a nice guy named David.D.Ho contacted me, after took information from me, in about 2 hours I got $159 refund back, but took a week to show in my credit card account.
Anyway I am very happy. Your order from Newegg webside is very trustful even customer rate that franchise store of 6Ave low but Newegg put step above on them and follow Newegg rule.

"Usually I don't take the time to write reviews when I receive the service one expects. Today, I feel the need to take the time to write a review about my interaction with one of the return agents from Newegg. I had a unique situation in which I have been out of town for two weeks and upon returning went straight back to work for 2 days (I am a firefighter) so my shifts are 48 hours long. This combination caused me to miss a return term by 3 days. I was fully prepared to accept the fact that I might get stuck with an unopened packaged that I was not in need of. This item was a NAS system that exceeded 650.00. I made contact with an agent vs going through the automated system. My hope was that maybe something could be done. I have been a customer of Newegg for over 15 years. I have only had to return one item in all that time and it was immediately handled after receiving it. This was a different situation, due to the fact that I was 3 days outside of the return policy. The agent that helped me out was Hailey Rochin. I mentioned I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I found it necessary to explain how this agent went above and beyond for me. I explained my situation to Hailey and rather than just repeating the return policy to me, she stated she was going to look into what should could do based on the circumstances. Throughout the conversation, she was very professional and concerned about trying to help me out. I was placed on hold several times, and each time she apologized for the time I had to wait. I let her know that I had no issues waiting, I just appreciated her taking the time to try and handle the return. After about 10 minutes and 3 separate holds, Hailey returned to the line to inform me that she was not only going to take care of the return but she also would cover the return shipping. I was blown away. Unfortunately in todays retail world, it is far to easy to neglect the customer and only be concerned with the bottom line. In this case Newegg and especially their agent showed concern for my situation and worked to make me happy. As I said, I have been a customer for 15 plus years. I have always told people about Newegg in passing, but now I will make it a point to discuss how great both Newegg and its employees are. Thanks again Hailey for all of your help, it may have just seemed like another day at work for you, but it made my day. Thanks Newegg.

"Based on my last purchase with New Egg, it was easy to commit to a second (big ticket) purchase. I recently called to inquire about the status and delivery time frame. Hailey Rochin handled my inquiry. She was very professional, friendly and thorough to say the least - and this is what makes a business stand out in a sea of online obscurity. What's remarkable is that this could have just been any cold transaction but Hailey takes the time to put the human aspect back into customer service. Getting my call back number was a key step often overlooked by 90% of customer care agents. Our call was disconnected and she was able to contact me and resolve a kink in the system. She was able to provide a target delivery date and sent me (per special request) a revised tracking number. I am a firm believer that what makes a business great is product quality, customer satisfaction.
