"So yeah, I'm done ordering from Newegg.com - This is the 3rd time I've ordered from them and the 2nd time they've completely screwed things up.
The 1st time it wasn't their fault the error happened but the way they went about it once I brought it to them and the things they told me were completely unhelpful and inefficient and ended up taking another 2-3 weeks to solve.
This time, its ALL on them. I ordered a bunch of parts to upgrade my PC. I put in my address as the place to deliver it to and went to pay. But for some reason, my card wasn't working on their site, saying it was getting declined, even though my bank said everything was fine. So I used Paypal, boom everything goes through.
A week later and I go to check on the package which should be arriving today. The package is being delivered to my old address in Keizer.... What.... So I check on their site, it saw the address that happened to be on my Paypal account and said "Screw the address he manually typed into our sight to designate where to send it, we're sending it to this other address that has nothing to do with the order besides being on the Paypal account!"
So I call Newegg and they go through a huge process and eventually tell me they contacted FedEx and the package would be left at a pickup location and I could pick it up. Cool, that works for me as long as it isn't getting delivered to my old apartment. An hour later and I get an email from FedEx saying the package has been delivered TO THE OLD APARTMENT!
After calling FedEx, they are trying to work it out to have the driver go retrieve it and send it to a pickup location which is what Newegg said they had already done! So either the customer service rep lied to me and said they had fixed it or they thought they had fixed it and - again - screwed something up to where it wasn't actually fixed...
At this point, I don't care if Amazon is slightly more expensive, it's worth the money to not have to juggle and tug and pull every time I order something for my computer."

"Newegg delivered completely with their side of the deal. The shopping process was easy and stress free. When the delivery company screwed up and couldn’t find my address, they required the sender(Newegg) to approve me to pick up the product at the delivery company’s location. OnTrac (delivery company) stated that it will be near impossible to get approval from the shipper and it’s most likely going to have to wait a day to be redelivered.
I called Newegg customer support with little hope of finding a resolution that I’d like. I was greeted by a customer support agent that was down to earth and understanding. He put my mind at ease and even went through a supervisor to help get my package pickup approved.
After a few minutes, the representative let me know that everything had been taken care of and I should receive an invite from OnTrac to pick up my package the same day.
