"To make a long story short. I was having difficulty with getting a refund back from a 3rd party seller, going through all the steps and request of that 3rd party. I realized that I might need to contact Newegg customer service center. I spoke with "Mercy" on 5/16/18 she was very helpful and understanding to the situation, with the multi-tasking skills I have I also was on live chat with "Sven". They both were diligently assisting me to help resolve the issue. "Mercy" assured me they will take care of me and to contact them for status update 5/21/18. I did as instructed called back today 5/21/18 and spoke with "Drew" he sealed the deal. After he reviewed the case and seen the dialogue between the 3rd party, myself and his co-workers and my attempt to get my refund. "Drew assured me that they will issue a refund to me within 3-5 days. I want to Thank them (Mercy, Sven, and Drew) for their customer service skills and investigating the incident. I want to thank myself for remaining calm. Job well Done!!!!!!!!. Now, I'm going to wait for my refund. :)"

"I PLACED MY ORDER ONLINE. ONCE SUBMITTED I NOTICED THE QTY OF ONE OF MY ITEMS WAS DUPLICATED. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SPOKE TO DARREL HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND DID HIS JOB WELL. "I ordered a product using the Marketplace feature through NewEgg which was through a 3rd party seller. The 3rd party went around the NewEgg system to show the order completed, however it was not. I then looked up the 3rd party and found that they had numerous terrible reviews. I didn't bother checking the review earlier because my previous transactions have been great.
So then i contacted NewEgg to take care of the order. The first call resulted in NewEgg sending an email to the 3rd party (which i had done myself twice already and called them), so i hadn't gotten my hopes up for a resolution. Then i waited for the 3rd party to contact NewEgg about my order which was already 10 business days past when it was supposed to ship. Customer Service said the next step was to wait another 3 days for the response. Nothing happened after 3 business days from either party.
I again contact NewEgg via phone and they said they would have to work on the issue with an open ticket through their Marketplace option. In the meantime I ordered it from someone else and am now trying to cancel and get my money back and that seems to be another issue.
The site in general I've always been happy with, the Marketplace options not so much."

Unfortunelty, the Flatscreen Monitor I ordered was not quite the same than the one delivered - the Model Number was one digit off, which made it a whole different model. Due to compatibility, I was nat able to utilize the monitor and called in for refund options. The CS Agent RJ was very understanding, achieved an exception for me as I was 1 day past the 30 day (purchsd on 19April, call in day was 19May), and also sent me consent for free return shipment due to wrong model.
Mistakes will always be made, I don't get upset, but it is how it is being handled afterwards.
I am sending Kudos for RJ for handling the situation professional and courteous.

In the next few minutes I thought I was finally able to straighten out my password. By the time I got back to the item I wanted, they were sold out! That’s when Jamie called from customer service. She checked and confirmed items were sold out. Jamie helped me find a suitable substitute, re-re-set my password and helped me preserve special discount I had just missed. "For me to write a review, the event must stand out. A standout moment occurred for me today. For my most recent order, NewEgg did their customary good job. However, the shipping company botched things up so bad, that my order from California to California has (so far) made two trips across the country. The order included free three day shipping and because of the shipper, it will take 10 days to arrive. I got nowhere with the shipper, so I called Newegg.
RJ.A.Rosales from NewEgg called the shipper who offered no help - 10 days. I don't buy it, but it's not NewEgg's fault. Instead of dropping it there, RJ put me on hold to see what he could do. He worked with the NewEgg crew and returned with a few options, even though I made it clear that I only called to see if they had any pull with the shipper. RJ arranged for a credit to be applied on my next order.
In short, NewEgg did their best to compensate for a shipper's incompetence.
