"Update: May 5th 2018, Ok at this point now I have lost all hope in Newegg! I have placed over 12 calls in to New since April 13th for my refund. To TL/DR the original story, I bought a PC advertised as mid tier $800 Asus Gaming Pc, New egg sent me the wrong model with a 2 gen older CPU and with no GPU, It was an entirely non match product description. RMA'd within 30mins of Confirmed delivery with photo documentation. Fast Forward to present day, Day 13 of the 7-10 day max "business day" turn around. They received my the pc back on the 19th of April, it's now the 5th of May. On Tuesday I was told everything was approved and it would be in bank within 2-3 days. So I called back today, and It still is hasn't even been sent to the financial department. So basically Since its Friday I was told to wait til Next Monday to talk to them again so they can approve it again, which will be over a month I have had around $1300 **** in them.. Amazon and every other company I have Ever dealt with has a quick turnaround, within a week, never a Month.. Newegg when did you forget this was my money, a broke single father, I'm not a multi Million dollar company. Your CS dept tells me one thing and does another!
Original post April 25th 2018: I can't believe this has been a thing so long and I've had no idea. Only complaint is returning something takes over a week. But it is like that with most online stores. Great Prices, amazing Stock and caring employees. I have switched entirely from Amazon to Newegg. Barney, was the last customer service agent that I had the pleasure to meet. I have yet to meet anyone that was not nice and helpful. I only docked a star because I have still not received my rebate and am still waiting for my refund. The refund is well within allotted time, however the rebate was supposed to be giving to me immediately on my next order which is going on 3 days. I really love your site, but this is really putting me in a tight spot when both reasons were on your company sending me the wrong items and making me wait two weeks and counting.."

"Got a new i7 CPU that at first seemed OK, but had some intermittent issues. After running Memtest86+ and Prime95, it became pretty apparent that one of the cores wasn't working well. Newegg is sending me a new CPU right away and I have 30 days to return the old one, all at no expense to me. It's by far the best solution I could think of. Marco was polite, efficient and took great care of everything. I've been a long-time customer of theirs and have never been disappointed."

"Simply stated - Renee went out of her way to make sure I found the right RAM and hard-drive to upgrade a laptop I just ordered. I wanted something to run by my IT department as at least a starting place. It took only a couple of minutes and she had the model numbers back to me. It is my first encounter at Newegg customer service where I came away 100% satisfied and left with a smile on my face.
I think the most refreshing part of the conversation was she was so animated and so easy to understand she made the transaction almost fun. It was like she wanted to be there.
