"Newegg is awful. I order birthday decor for my sons birthday and they sent the wrong item. It took 3 weeks to get the RMA number from them, and then they made me pay to ship it back. It has now been 2 months and they are “claiming” I didn’t send it back. So I lost my money and the wrong decor plus I lost the shipping costs to send it back. They have HORRIBLE customer service. "
"I bought an item from their sellers and it was not as advertised. REturning was a challenge. They would not respond. Newegg passed the blame to the seller and would not try to act on my behalf. This seller had a ton of negative reviews because of doing the same (after I bought it). After trying for weeks, I finally had to do a charge back. They blocked my account. This after I spent over 10K without a single return. They did the same to a friend of mine as well. They finally reactivated my email after I complained on twitter. Despite my better judgement, I ordered an item from them. Before it was even shipped, I cancelled the order, but they shipped it anyways and gave me two days to return after delivery. I got the item February 28th at 5pm, and the RMA number was valid only until March 2nd. This is a very customer unfriendly place and now I buy only from the big Ama** store.
I am currently on their chat queue trying to return this item. It has been 10 minutes, even though I am next in line. "

"I decided to upgrade my computer and as with all things there's never a 100% chance your item will arrive to you in perfect condition, this certainly isn't my first time ordering from Newegg, I've done so many many times, they have very quick processing times and very good shipping times. Honestly they are my favorite place to shop online (though in part because they sell awesome computer stuffs :P )
This time however was my first time having something arrive that was not working. The shipping was perfect, boxes good condition, but my motherboard was faulty, and judging by some of the reviews on the item I knew it was a possibility prior to purchase. I was/is the motherboard I want though so I went ahead a purchased it and sadly my DRAM check failed and although I went to a professional was still unable to get it working.
I then dealt with Newegg's customer service for my first time and although it's always a bit of dreaded experience to have to RMA something, this was the best experience I've had doing so. I used their "chat with us" feature my agent was Jane C. And in less than 5 minutes my return was processed and issued and emails sent for the return shipping label.
Of course I wish my motherboard hadn't been DOA but knowing that sometimes it happens, I couldn't be happier with Newegg's response and timing considering the issue. Excellent site, and now proud to say, excellent service."

"Okay so I ran a Google search to find a new Paul Frank bag. Was not sure what I was looking for just knew I would know when I found it through the images. Lo and behold I find a bag that I can't live without. So I click on the picture and click on the link and takes me to this wonderful site. Not only did I pay less than retail, but was very quick to ship as I had it days after my order. I did not pay for extra shipping on that! When I got the bag it was better than the picture showed!!! Product shipped with staples driven through it's box (not the enclosing fedex cardboard shipping box, the manufacturer's box) causing unwanted damage. As the product is currently out of stock, I will either receive a replacement or a refund (the former preferred). I am not sure who is driving staples through boxes and rendering perfectly good laptops fodder for open box resales, but that should probably not happen.
I am now out the money for the overnight shipping (which wasn't overnight. Order placed on Tuesday, shipped Wednesday, received Friday) and possibly without a product, but should otherwise have a full refund for what is in the end minor cosmetic damage."
"I bought a new computer from one of Newegg's third party sellers who delivered a computer with two scratches in the middle of my laptop screen. I can fit the tip of my fingernail in one of the scratches. The third party seller has been rude and accusing me and the shipping company of the damages and refuses to help with a partial refund to fix the damaged screen. Newegg is being helpful yet it too a lot to get them to step in."
