"I ordered a TV from Newegg.com on 2/8. My invoice said delivery in 5 to 7 days. After 2 weeks and no TV, I contacted the trucking company. They told me that the TV wouldn't be delivered for at least another week. At that point I told the trucking company to return the TV. I contacted Newegg and they told me that I actually bought the TV from their marketplace seller and that they couldn't help me. The seller, IElectrica.com took almost a week to get back to me, and basically threatened me that if I didn't accept the TV shipment they would charge me for all the shipping changes. To make matters worse, I tried to leave a negative review for IElectrica.com and it looks like Newegg.com moderates the reviews and didn't post it. I've shopped on Newegg for years, I never knew they didn't stand behind what they sell on their website.
I've since filed a complaint with the BBB. That seemed to have done nothing. The person who responded was a customer service rep and she basically gave the same line " would love to help, but, what can we do...":
I guess I'm just going to keep looking for places on the internet to tell my story in hope that someone reads this before doing business with Newegg's marketplace (sellers other than Newegg).
UPDATE...................
So here is the resolution I received: (1) They admit that the shipping information on their website is inaccurate. (2) They admit they didn't try to deliver the TV anywhere near on time. (3) If I no longer want the TV trying to be delivered a month later, I must pay all the shipping charges.
Absolutely ZERO customer service. I'm really shocked. There are some very good reputable online retailers out there, I'm never doing business with Newegg again.

"Newegg sent a package claiming to have my graphics card in the box instead when I opened the package was greeted by a component that in no way resembles what I purchased. Because this was not something they carried in there warehouse they were unwilling to help in anyway. After countless phone calls, chats, and emails they told me to pound sand. I am out $369.99 and they are out a good customer.
At best this is just a careless mistake made by someone in their warehouse, at worst this is theft, and Newegg would do well to look into this further, and make it right with their customer."
"I was ordering two (2) monitors that Newegg had on sale with a promo code for $10 off. When I entered the code I got an error message at checkout stating "The item(s) in your shopping cart does not qualify for the discount with the promo code EMCPSPV26 you've entered. Please check again or contact customer service." I contacted Customer Service and Cristal was able to get the promo code to work although not online she had to take the order over the phone. Thanks Cristal for your persistence in getting the promo code to work!"
"Although I have never had an issue with Newegg itself, The Marketplace that is supported and run through Newegg is unregulated, and a purchase that I made through the Newegg website resulted in a counterfeit item being shipped to my door. Even after contacting Customer Service over 6 times in a 24 day period, and shipping the counterfeit item back to the marketplace seller out of my own pocket, I still have not received a refund. I even provided both Newegg and the seller with the USPS tracking information over three weeks ago, and the item has been waiting for pickup at the designated RMA address for two weeks. Newegg refuses to force their marketplace seller to issue a refund, nor have they taken any action to prevent the seller from scamming others.
Bottom Line: Items purchased through Newegg may be counterfeit. Newegg will not prevent a seller, nor take action against a seller for selling fake or counterfeit items. Newegg will not process a refund, nor will take any action even after RMA procedures have been properly followed.
I would not recommend anyone place trust or confidence that the items they ordered will be genuine, I would also not place any confidence that a refund will be issued if you do receive a fake or counterfeit item.
If you receive a fake or counterfeit item, you will have to pay out of pocket to ship it back to the seller.
TLDR: Newegg will not assist you if you get scammed on their marketplace."
"I have been buying from Newegg for 10 years, build many a computers, no problems ever, got into Photography business, started buying drones for some of the work I do. Ordered an great bird from Newegg, Wingsland Mini vet. and 2 extra battery's works great to this day. Shipping was Newegg fast. I have 8 drones now, bought my last one from GeekBuying. Newegg was higher , Cheerson CX-23. I always buy extra battery's they could not deliver one to me they said. so went back to Newegg they had the battery for 21.00 which is about the going price. I thought great, this will be faster on shipping, didn't realize I would be dealing with an over seas vender. it had over a month now, no battery, no communication from the vender. today i get a battery charger in the mail from the same place in China that the battery is coming from, I did not order a battery charger, I check the tracing no. , shows the battery has not been delivered. so I and Newegg have no ideal what is going on. I have sent them an Email, no replay, Newegg has sent them 2 Emails still waiting on the last one. and to top all of this off the battery that came with the drone was defective, so I have not flown the new drone yet. Contacting Geekbuying is as bad as trying to contact the folks that have my battery that I ordered from Newegg. Bottom line, Newegg buy the product yourself, so you can service your customer's the way you always have, and do not rely on some company on the other side of the World to get the products to your customer. That is not the Newegg way, Is It? thanks for your time. Hope someone is listening. Changes need to be made."

We cancelled the order sent to the UK and I immediately ordered the item that i found on Newegg. There was no heartburn over the deal, it was just done and over with. I have been dealing with Newegg for years and I have yet to be disappointed with their shipping service, or their customer service. I don't know how Newegg does it, but their personnel are always very professional, and for the customer. Hutch was no exception to the rule. He answered my questions with out giving me an attitude that you run into at other stores. He was pleasant and determined to help me out. I would say that he is a credit to Newegg, and a big supporter of the lofty goals that Newegg is always maintaining. And I am a big supporter of Newegg. Some of their Market place stores should study Newegg. They have a great deal to learn when it comes to running a great store."
