"Ordered a replacement light globe 11/29/17. Received expected tracking info that stated it had been left on a porch in CA. I'm in OH. My neighbor checked for me - nothing. I detoured on a snowy Saturday night on the way home from a holiday party to my office - nothing. I then spent an hour waiting on Monday to talk to someone. The man tried to call the shipper (MDC) & did not get a response. Could only email them. A few hours later, my shipment arrived. They had sent me the wrong tracking info. I opened the box - it was the wrong item. I spent 45 minutes on chat the next day trying to get help. The gal tried to call the shipper (MDC) & did not get a response. Could only email them. I have it a few days, then got **** off and emailed them, demanding a return. I did receive a return authorization. I had to ship the WRONG item back to them at my OWN expense ($15). And they only refunded the item cost, not the other $12.35 that it cost me. So I spent $27, have no product & received absolutely no assistance. I'm in the construction industry, and if we treated our clients this way...
UPDATE: NewEgg has contacted me and completely refunded everything.

The associate who was with me was very patient and helpful throughout the whole ordeal and kept with me until the issue was resolved (making the purchase through paypal). Awesome customer service!"
"An issue happened with FedEx where a package was lost, and I was waiting quite some time for my parts. I was a new customer with Newegg and extremely frustrated with this.
I got pushed through to a Supervisor by the name of Dwight, whom went above and beyond the call of duty to really push to make things right. I waited almost 3 weeks for my parts but Dwight was on the ball calling me early AM and really pushing his claims department hard.
In the end he made it right through some price matching and express delivery for my parts.
I have to say this is a Stella individual and a grade A+ Supervisor!! "

"i have done business with newegg back in the day, but not for awhile now. thought i would give them a try and ordered a digital download. figured a high tech computer site shouldn't have a problem with that. boy was i WRONG! they took my money within seconds, but i received no download. so i called and the guy says it would be several hours to end of day to 1 to 2 business days. for a digital download!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously, a high end computer website cant handle a digital download? used to be newegg had a 9.8 rating here. when i came here to make a comment i noticed it's down to 9, now i know why. they dont care. they are big enough now that i guess they figure 1 or 2 disgruntled customers now and again doesnt matter. the only thing that matters to them is money, just like so many other businesses these days. i wont go back again, EVER! if i were you i would look somewhere else to do business, and there are plenty of others. one that i have done business in the past still has a 9.9 rating here. should have gone with them. i will not make that mistake again.
