Great Service

"I recently ordered a Sceptre monitor. I was very pleased with it except for several dead pixels, so I called for a return authorization and to request a new Sceptre monitor. The rep worked it through for me, even noticing a drop in price and refunding me part of the difference (I was calling more than 7 days after the purchase). He also checked to insure that an advance delivery was possible, so that I would not lose a day of work. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience. "

"I only had a order or invoice number for my purchase and missed a letter in my email so did not know when my packages would arrive. Antoinette ). was spot on efficient and terrific with determining the missed email letter and then provided the tracking numbers for the packages. Thank you"

Contact support three times!

"First time contact customer support, nothing happen. Second time, support agent tried to fix it, but issue happen again and nobody follow up. Third time, finally a serious agent did help and keep track to the issue till resolved. this is really bad experience for a customer "

Clean Return

"I had order an item for my home network use and realized once opened and set-up that I had purchased the wrong unit. I really needed the next model up. Called customer service and they handled a return that was flawless and professional.

First, I will state that the outstanding rep, (Gina Navarro) spoke English. That's important to me. I am not discriminatory or racist, I just want to speak to someone with good English like me. It's all about communicating. I don't care what skin color or ethnic background you are as long as you can speak to me.

Second, she listened to my problem and assured me she would be able to take care of my problem. She handled it professionally and calmly without a lot of hassle or issues.

By the end of the call, my item was headed back with a free return label, full refund for the product, and helped me purchase the correct part I need.

Newegg (If you are listening), needs to hire and make Xerox copies of Gina Navarro, because she is the definition of customer service.

"My order was canceled by 6ave a week after approved by NEW EGG. I hope my refund do not take that long and at the end come with some unacceptable. My business relies on commitment and reliability from its suppliers and NEWEGG NEWEGG should reconsider continue using this seller because definitely they tarnish its image and customer service ratings."

Great Customer Service BUT watch out for restocking fees.

"Probably should go with amazon. Newegg charges a 15% restocking fees on items and are doing a 3rd party marketplace thing that degrades the service. Too bad, really. Back to Amazon..."

Amazing customer service

"Boyd, from Newegg CS, went above and beyond helping me with my order today.

I do most of my major shopping online and often deal with online customer service and this was one of the most helpful calls I've had.

I had failed to add a gift card code to my order because I thought the amount would automatically show up on my account. And due to Newegg's lightning fast order processing, the order had already been charged to my cc, the item was out of stock (so I couldn't cancel and re-order) and there was no way to make the computer add the gift card to the order.

Most CS reps, at this point, would just apologize and keep repeating that there was nothing they could do. Instead, Boyd tried a few other things and when those didn't work, said he'd keep an eye on the order, because there was a way to apply the credit after it had been invoiced.

That goes above and beyond what most customer service reps would do. Even if they figured out how to apply the credit after invoicing, I've had reps tell me to call back in a few days to ask for the credit once I find out it's been invoiced.

For Boyd to take all that on himself without making me do any further work is amazing - they should keep him and hire more like him!

And it gives me the confidence to keep buying from Newegg online, because they'll help me out if I run into any problems.
