"I had ordered a graphics card from Newegg since it was on sale for the lowest price I could find for it at the time, and when it finally arrived it had a defect that caused it to produce an insufferable buzzing noise when under even slight load. Thoroughly disappointed and annoyed, I decided to return the item for a refund. While I was indeed informed that this particular item was not normally eligible for refunds, the gentleman who assisted me was gracious enough to grant me store credit for the item, in light of the buzzing defect.
On top of this, I was planning to purchase another item from Newegg that had a lower price from another company. While that item was not eligible for a price match, I was told that I would be given a gift card to lessen the discrepancy in price after my purchase. While it was not the scenario I dreamed of, it was certainly a nice bonus. I'm comfortable with shopping here in the future, now that it's been demonstrated that I'm in good hands. "

"I ordered a laptop that came with a free bundle (value $250). Upon opening the bundle, the mouse that should have come in it was missing. After several phone calls with various vendors to assist, I finally spoke with a supervisor from Newegg (Brooklyn) that was able to assist. She immediately recognized my frustration and was able to ship me a comparable mouse within 10 minutes after reaching her! I am happy to work with people like Brooklyn that is able to work every situation individually! "Now-A-Days retail online is impersonal and dependent on programs and dehumanized to make the experience available to more people than if sales people have to transact every purchase. At Amazon there is a process that is difficult to find, but works similarly to NewEgg, but not as specialized. NewEgg's technical staff is able to answer questions on you call, as well as connecting you to technical support, such as Asus, to find answers to your technical questions. At Amazon, as courteous, helpful, and nice as they are, they have no direct communication to the technical retailer or products. Sellers are almost not part of the Amazon experience so Amazon compensates with good buyer representation policies.
So, if you are looking for a Big tech Retailer with the Little business appeal to represent products well with tech support, NewEgg is the way to go."
"The original product would not work. Contacted customer service (Darrell H.) and spoke to him and explained my problem. He researched the Newegg catalogue and found me a same cost replacement unit. Newegg gave me full credit for the defective product and is sending me a new unit. There was no hassle as one can find with other companies.
